Last Stand of the Virtuous 5.5 - GAME OVER, UNSEEN AND ANGEL WIN

I already stated that the reason I brought it up late was because I didn’t realise until then that Merpy wasn’t confirmed Unseen

And in any case, even if I was lying about that, I would be instigating a CfD off of carbonated & Derps, and I would hope you could see I genuinely did (do really) townread both of them and leading a CfD off of two players I believe are town as EK would certainly be a pro gamer move:tm:

You gave me revolver without bullets.

Hm… Yeah, fair enough. I forgot about you. My bad.

Uh… That’s cool and all, but I still think it’s scummy. At this point I just want to hear Derps’ reaction / response to the current situation.

I can’t target you again sorry :sob:

I’m not taking the king at their word. If they genuinely scumread Derps and they’re EK they’re going to want to defend derps right now to avoid a second teammate dying. Flipping derps is something I want to do, but if they end up as an evil, Daeron needs to go next.

I knew Merpy was illusionist from their first ever post. That’s why I had a radical stance change into immediately townreading them after they broadcast
I didn’t actually townread them, I just thought they were confirmed Unseen Illusionist because they broadcasted and the converted versions seemingly didn’t have a broadcasting function, and it’s also why I was willing to sheep Merpy at the end of D1 on pandora
Then nearing the end of d2 when I went to reread all the prestige classes after chomps claimed judge did I realise the illusionist converts have broadcasting too tucked away in a singular sentence

I would appreciate the illusionist giving me access to a mind link (doesn’t have to be the permanent one) since I mean, you know. It’d be nice.

you can’t seriously think this
I am so obviously trying to solve the game

Duly noted.

so this is weird, not only have i not played on forum vs. discord and this setup has like 80 crazy roles, but i literally never subbed in before.

i’m usually active from the beginning and know what is going on so… don’t really like this aspect

It’s a possibility, you are a potential lost wolf after all and unless you can claim you did something unfathomably townie mechanically speaking socially it’s always going to be a possibility

I mean look at me socially I was evil as fuck mechanically I was locktown, it’s the same thing for you

oh no im just going to say now my mech actions look to have been an absolute atrocity

@Zone_Q11 The Angel could cause a false flip. Just noticed. Wanted to let you know.

It hindered us from focusing on the real topic: carbonated vs beancat.

…wait, so the entire debate at EOD2 was just about you knowing / guessing about Merpy being Illusionist, and not talking about it?

Well to be fair you’re uninformed either way so it’s not really going to do as much. Until you pick a teammate but alas

wait a second
beancat might not even have been arbiter :skull:

Most of the roles are duplicates. (In particular those of the Blue Dragon and Hands of Byzantium.)
Don’t let the heavy mech overwhelm you. Just focus on playing socially until you get the hang of what you can do, and claim only when everyone calls for mass-claim, or when you’re about to die.

Anyway as an aspect of being a LW and in a leader position yeah you’d be trying to solve the game, and until you find your teammates that’s what you’d do. Pushing the illusionist who is most likely good with the guise that they’re not doing a specific thing looks good on paper but when you think about it, even if they were evil:

You’d kill an evil, but not the important evil it’d just be a convert. Making you look good but opening up more “slots” for your team to do their thing. Even if the illusionist isn’t evil you can shrug it off as trying to solve stuff but you saying you already knew the illusionist and doing that anyway is bothering me a little
