Handmaiden, for reference, looks like this

It’s supposed to be interpreted as a last checked parity cop (target someone n1 to do nothing, target someone n2 to learn if they win with n1. etc in a ladder) but I read it as a different kind of parity cop where on d2 you make a soul read and then check against that. this is due to the fact that rumor is presented first (principle of heirarchy of information), the fact that rumor and analyze both use “last checked” to reference a single player but analyze also uses “test” in reference its second target, and the flavor of spreading a rumor about a specific person and then thinking about peoples’ reactions to a good and/or bad thing potentially happening to that person

Here is how I would rewrite this role to be clearer.

The Handmaiden

Unseen Investigative

Analyze (Night) - Check if a player is compatible with the last checked player. Players are compatible if they can win together. Players with Royal Blood are always incompatible with other Royal Bloods. You will learn if this ability fails, or if you are redirected. - Infinite uses
Rumor (Day) - Designate a player the “last checked player” in regards to Matchmake. - 1 use, cannot be used Day 1
Prying Servants (Night) - Select a living player and a night killed player. You will learn if the living player visited the night killed player on the night they died. You only visit the living player. - 2 uses

Defeat the Blue Dragon or Hand of Byzantium.

-Moved analyze to the top so that it’s more clear that it’s the primary ability
-Made the verb “Check” in all places to avoid ambiguity
-Slightly reworded Rumor
