i dont even regret misclearing the rhea slot because i just messed up the mechanics by not realizing willow killed the king, but i still think it was an entirely fair thing to draw conclusions off of. (would have been a hard guilty if we’d actually realized it just a moment sooner). i get the site is kind of starved for players but if you keep a game running while people are inactive, you cant ask the players to pretend nothing happened.

yea its… awkward. when i replaced in i realized once the king kill was accounted for i was ~mech outed unless i holstered my kill to frame soweli which was like. ok. i could do that but i could just not do that. just doesnt really feel like mafia when the mech is like “oh there wasnt a player in this slot when a kill happened so theyre town” 
(i assume the hosts tried to find subs but at some point it probably should have resulted in pausing the game or something, i dont think anyone would have minded tbh)

imo theres a reasonable case to call it regardless of the alignments of the afk slots, but in THIS specific situation calling it is probably more reasonable yea lmao

it genuinely should be maintained as best practices to not have games run that way, part of the freedom of manual hosting is you dont need to be held to a specific deadline and can delay if game integrity would be affected
