yeah i hadnt played a FOL for like 5 years but this was anonymous so i joined just to shitpost and roleplay as whatever I rolled but then i rolled a neutral killer so had to actually try to understand the setup
FOL is fun as a meme but because each character is so powerful the execution literally does not matter because there’s 8000 other things which determine the game which isn’t really my cuppa tea.
Also I doubt anybody has done that before this as well.

There’s a lot which factors in for sure, which isn’t always great.
I will say that it partially was due to town’s plays that we lost still, we didn’t do things perfectly.
Like I feel that protection just kinda did little to help us sadly.
If I had been protected, I knew Leafia’s ass was evil and would’ve killed em myself the following night.
And honestly I failed because I could’ve just made my logs say to kill McBrains but I wanted to put my night actions in it too which there wasn’t enough space for it all haha
i think if sherif was more loud we could have gotten further.
Hippo’s Nk is just very harsh in this kinda format
i was going to make the cackles a running gag and have them become increasingly more elaborate and stupid but the game ended too soon
Plus a townie just… wishing to become a NK
i dont think town was getting any further once both our kings died and we elected a psycho king again.

i am trying to think how else i would interpret the wish maybe make you just a neutral wizard but turn one of the neutrals into a blue dragon would be funny
but then town had two kings and were already stacked with BDK’s with a sherif… which tbf didnt do anything anyway Mostly not due to their own actions
Lying Darkness fix coukld be:
Tainted players votes against you do not count (only revealed if you would be exed)
Tainted players ability never work against you
Win at final 4
And then get rid of the insta win at half players tainted cuz i only had 2 claims (nikki and john) yet still insta won at final 6.
Harmless neutral like alchemist or mercenary or inquisitor with mostly evil heretics
If you want to spite me, could just turn me into an evil role. Because of the nature of the wish, the evil role would Actually be the pretender. So my win con would be to help town win as the win con would be flipped.
i mean tbf it did take out a town and a coven for a neutral… so unseen probably had more of an idea on what happened then we did… which btw.
