LFoL 3 - Day 4 (1/17) - THE LYING DARKNESS AND THE POSSESSOR WIN

I would claim Mercenary, out my targets and also ensure these targets are definitely town, if there’s rotten egg then I don’t want it.

Makes it easier to protect the last target getting converted.

Thinking about this didn’t help me as much as I hoped it would

I mean, it’s a good shout at least, the headhunter claim does make me doubt his credibility the more he talks.

VOTE: McBrains

In case you haven’t noticed, he flip flops and panders.

Does McBrains information suggest we have exactly one Observer or can we have more?

i would assume there is only one with the wording of the role itself but to be completely honest i don’t know anymore with this role list

I see, this makes sense.

Some quick reads:
(Forgive me, I don’t know how to make the dropdowns…)

John: BD
Despite having not posted for the first bit, came in with a large list of well-structured thoughts and their posts have felt very towny since.

Jackie: socially lean BD, but
Mechanically I don’t like what’s going on with the ‘two kings’ thing and even more so the idea of there being two good kings. Seems to be trying to get town’s opinion on their choices, though, which seems BD

Sabrina: nullish
Seems quite aggressive towards different people on not too much basis, but I’m not really sure. The logic on me seems a bit strange - if the Bodysnatcher were to use their ability on D1 it wouldn’t matter how they posted considering how little we had to go off before

Gravedigger: BD
Same kind of thoughts as John, came in later & made a good first impression that I like.

Yes you might be right about that, but well I don’t think doing nothing is the correct choice

Good point. I just think going for me is trying to cut off an easy target which is… fair, actually. I should post more.

I would go after mcbrains but I’m considering the value of at least 1 cop-check coming from them. It would be coming from a neutral, and therefore it would not have as much value as it could coming from a trustable slot, but if they were trying to save their own skin then maybe they would be willing to out good information for us.

You notice that I flip-flop between wanting Mcbrains to be killed, but wanting to keep them alive because they can be valuable. I’ve noticed that. I don’t like that I can’t make up my mind on this slot and what I want done to it. I wish other people were contributing in ways that I feel were more…significant.

Realistically their info is only going to be whatever they think will keep them alive the longest, which I don’t think is more likely to be true than randomness.

Fair. I don’t really know what to do with McBrains either, earlier I was pretty set on killing them but now I don’t really know. It seems neuts in this game are more… valuable, than in most.

I’m 50/50 between assuming they would call every single person they check BD to appeal to the evil that they end up finding (and so they avoid being nightkilled by an angry evil team immediately afterwards) or assuming they will risk it and out that kind of information anyway

I’ve made it plainly clear that I think overall the value we recieve from Mcbrains is in what they are. Any kind of neutral means the king is likely to be good. If Mcbrains is Unseen then I’d have to investigate the class cards to see if there’s any way an evil king could get in touch with their team early enough to bus one of their own.

They could also claim redchecks on BD, which, while risky, could buy them a little bit of time if they felt they needed it. At the very least it’d be a distraction for them.

Are there frames in this game?
