outing yourself ingame is obviously a big integrity violation but if the idea is “okay you slipped out of thread, hosts need to know” you have every incentive to not self-report, and if someone sees they won’t do it unless it’s beneficial to them, which allows for gaming the rules for your own advantage

I think it’s reasonable to expect players to follow the rules of the game, even when it doesn’t benefit them

We already expect that in most other cases
