You are a Bookhunter role. This means that you are a role that may gain benefits when particular Books are burned.
In your case, you may gain benefits when burning a book sourced from a player who was not Town, or when burning the book of a player who died at night, as specified in the Book of that player.
(There may be benefits that affect all players, but any benefits that go to one particular player always go to Bookhunters.)

You are aware that there is another role that is a Bookhunter.
If they are dead, you will gain any benefits from burned Books that would have gone to them & are notified as such.
There may or may not be more than one other Bookhunter, but if there are more, the above passive only interacts with one particular Bookhunter, whom you are aware has similar knowledge.

Night: Movement (4 Uses)

“The song of this City is approaching its coda–and you have your stories to keep, don’t you?”

Target a Book that is available to burn. You will learn if burning that Book would provide benefits to you.

Night: Grand Finale (1 Use)

“This performance will be my final enlightenment, and I’ll share it with everyone at the same time.”

You may only use this on Night 5 or afterwards. Burn all remaining Books that have yet to be burned as if they had been burned by vote.

Defeat the Mafia and eliminate Neutrals that pose a direct threat.

The following information is revealed with the burning of the Book of the Library:

Books & Flips

In this game, full flips are not a guarantee. Instead, when every player dies, their role will be turned into a Book.

This happens regardless of whether or not a player full-flips.

When a player dies, their alignment is always revealed, regardless of the status of the rest of their flip.

Flips of Mafia players are always alignment-only until their book burns, regardless of if they were executed or died at night.

Flips of Town players who were executed will reveal the full flip of that player.

Flips of Town players who died at night are alignment-only, and are less likely to grant rewards.

Each day, in addition to the daily execution, everyone may vote for a Book to burn.

This will always reveal the full flip of the player whose related Book was burned.

Additional effects may take place when burning a Book, or when it is created, when the related player dies, etc. These will be rarer, outside of Bookhunter benefits as described below.

A player who will create a certain Book upon their death is “related” to that Book, and vice versa.

Bookhunters
(This section is particularly important!)

There are certain particularly central roles in this game known as Bookhunters.

Bookhunters turn the negative utility of not having full flips in the game into positive utility, primarily gained by burning Books.

When a Book is burned, it is particularly likely to grant extra abilities or benefits to the Bookhunters, especially Books related to Town roles.

Abilities gained this way will almost always be one-shot, and will usually be directly taken from the related role.

There might be only one Bookhunter, but there may be several as well, some of which may be non-town.

Unstable Books & Key Pages

At the start of the game, in addition to this Book, a number of Unstable Books will be created & will be available to burn.

Unstable Books each reflect a non-town role that is in the game.

Upon burning an Unstable Book, a general overview of the role in question & the potential counterplays it has will be revealed to everyone.

In addition, all Mafia players will be granted Key Pages, which is an additional role that could potentially be in the game as a Town role.

The more powerful a Mafia role is, the less likely it is their Key Page will be powerful, but this is not a hard rule.

When burning the Book related to a Mafia player, their Key Page will be revealed as well. This does not apply to the Unstable Books, nor will Unstable Books take Key Pages into account.

Key Page abilities may be used alongside normal role abilities–it’s essentially an additional role with its own action restrictions.

first warning thing yesterday was me i wanted to confirm that my ability exists because i can use it every phase [mostly] and thought it would be funny

would normally be using this to highlight things i think are important to not get buried but given the current circumstances i think i’d rather just get my reads out

i think tutuu chomps spiritualized are super town. i said sultan was town earlier but i didnt really like his eod all that much

i think achro voting me like he did was the towniest thing he did all day and the second towniest thing he did all day was pivoting off me i think if he was a wolf he probably would have taken the opportunity to get me killed

i still think freez is pretty wolfy i still think ace is pretty wolfy neither of those reads changed over eod at all

My wim is gone. Either Achro wss strongmanned or I was rbed because I chose to protect Achro last nihht. I’ve also been added to a neighborhood with interesting rjlds I need to follow on it which is at leadt jnteresting,I guess.
