I got overzealous about Prophy being attacked, I hero shot the most likely attacker way too soon.

Wolf reading people for PL reasons and using an action on them as well is actually anti-town and all your doing is helping the mafia win condition so for future you need to find a new way to do/read stuff rather then confusing PL for an actual read.
