I don’t know guys but this entire situation just feels off to me lol. It reminds me of the day 1 mechanic in anni over on MU which allowed for players to vote for one player to become immune to death until after ITAs were over on day 2. And the choice for that target was stifled by people echo chambering each other to choose alexa just because she always dies on night one. Rather than choosing someone who people actually thought was town. I was worried about this and so were a few others, and I myself posited that while alexa does die a lot, she wasn’t actually towny and it’s probably a mistake to vote her. But I wasn’t towny enough myself to get people to vote for me or to get someone I townread voted. So she ended up getting it and was mafia

This is how I feel about the Leafia situation and the mechanic we are voting for in this game. There are a lot of parallels. We are voting Leafia for an OOG reason (she won’t be able to use whatever buff she gets very well as a wolf - the equivalent in anni being “alexa dies n1 a lot as town”) which is also silly because she will have a wolf team to discuss actions with. We aren’t voting someone we actually think is town. It doesn’t matter if we catch a wolf we vote in with this later because the damage we know of will stem from not getting the utility of putting it on a villager, not not killing the wolf on a later date. And I think the alternative - tutuu - is in my position in that game with respect to not being towny enough but knowing he’d be the better choice

and yes i am just assuming tutuu is town here, but if i have to choose between two people i don’t townread i am choosing the one who says they will be able to gain a mechanical benefit from it

1. Wallpost, ew.
2. Get me out of your “we”. You don’t townread Leafia; I do. I don’t townread tutuu; you do.
3. There is no mechanical benefit to choosing tutuu over Leafia. Tutuu simply claimed he can do more with the Mind Boggle than others, when there is literally nothing besides himself that can back him up.

I’ve only played with Jarek twice, both times it was town (and one time he was IC), but Jarek’s socials are still bad and May should not be carrying water for them

I’m actually abstaining from giving anything right now one way or the other because I want other people to have an opinion rather than following what I say which is what I think will happen because a few people have expressed townread s on me and I think wolves are going to go the same way.

Like, sure you are scumreading me (and I disbelieve the idea that you are currently reaction testing me), but I am magnamous enough to entertain the world where you are a Town with wrong reads.

Even then, as of moment of writing I no longer see you think of the possibility where tutuu is Mafia. In fact, it’s rather fascinating to read your ISO, because you began with:

okay so contextually in that game tutuu made the claim while under heavy pressure as mafia and had been kind of flailing for a while, so it was a desperation play to get out of trouble. here he was largely under no pressure and there’s enough playerlist overlap, so the question is does he waltz into the game and double down on doing the exact same play for no reason, and i’m skeptical that’s the case, even if he truly didn’t give a shit i think he would come up with something different

i think it’s towny line of thought from anonygoose regardless i’m just not sold on the idea that this is a scum gambit by tutuu.

i feel like i get scumread early far more often as town than i do as scum regardless of where i’m playing. i don’t think i play scummy i just do my thing but reliably it rubs someone the wrong way. part of my anger has to do with games that were not on here andobv that has nothing to do with this game or the people here but iirc my last town game i had people doubting me on day 1 a bunch even if i wasn’t a wagon at any point
