Tracked by iamagummybear to Ranta. Made up all other mech (incl. evidence that Jarek/May visited Ranta).

So the claim is a roleblock that also roleblocks Mafia Disruption/Misc/Investigation and i guess protection if they visit that target?

Yeah I know i was confused because ranta was acting like they were your guardian too. And they plus the roleblock claim thing was at odds to each other (if u were RBd u could be rantas guarded) but I was confused.

That’s why I kept asking ranta to say what happened to them and for you to claim to clear everything up

If I’m mafia I’d think of a claim to actually implicate someone or stick with lookout btw. No clue why I’d go with this one - especially coming out that I blocked ranta which no one knew and directly makes May’s claim look better.

I mean that kinda sound stock basic. its a stronger version of a roleblocker but i also feel like my role is a stronger version of its orginal.
it does seem like town abilites are more stronger then their usual counterparts from what i have heard.

With this in mind i could see this being a townsfolk role specifically the part that states that mafia is informed a bit about the ability when they are roleblocked. i feel like this specific part is the most townie thing cause i dont know if a mafia would just randomly fake claim with this announcement bit in it.

Their action tracks to what they claimed to do so if they are evil then its most likely the same role slightly modified

My claim is by far the most normal of everyone’s claims when prior are claiming they are in FPS competions and learn the future and get horror stories and items from other people.

Received the wolf ability from the D1 vote: it limits a player’s targets to a select number of people. diafiasco used this on May at start-of-day, but it’s a day-end action, so it hasn’t happened yet.

I will admit btw this does sound like a wolfy version of what Goose is claiming but eh this kinda suggests that wolf did have a disruptor/tp i guess which could have converted rantra before goose.
Actually reading this a bit more its not a perfect match.

i feel like the roles are brought down by their power levels meaning they really can’t do anything more than a basic role like a roleblocker/last will bearer/etc. maybe i’m biased towards higher power setups, dunno, but there does come a point when if that’s all it boils down to, it’s odd it’s covered in bells and whistles that essentially only makes it 75% of the regular role’s power

how do i compare this

like if i saw the role “If you die, your flip is cleaned for a cycle. After that cycle is over, it is revealed.” (and had to keep this ability) this game’s design would go “if you’ve managed to get three+ votes on yourself the cycle before you died”, whilst i think it would be better to add an event host to it

(i also made it a backup i think. that’s a real role from stellaris. i didn’t make that hypothetical up)

Oh heck no.
I genuinely want Arctic out.

If there’s anyone whom I’m wary at, then it’d be [everyone who has not actively interacted with me at all]. Like May, Hazard, and Willow/Chomps. (Everyone else has actively mentioned me, strictly by either pre-flipping me as Mafia, or townreading me with table salt.)

There are also players who belong in the [exceptions] class, who behave in a non-standard thought processes whom I have to watch out for as well, but like… they are such a hassle to watch over that I don’t want to start pushing them. (Not that I have anything against them to begin with. I just know that -even using my barbaric logic- their logic goes beyond my norm.)
