Past is something that happend prior to the investigation point if my assumption is right and may is claiming investigative.
Present is something that happened at the time of the investigation which i am ssuming is just like basic invest knowledge or something like checking if other investigatives didnt work
Future i am assuming is something either the Host thinks is gonna happen tomorrow day or something thats gonna happen EoN SoD
okay so right away my impression based on the summary of claims so far is that there is far too much investigative power in play
there is already a flipped vigilante that functions as a desperado if it misshoots, i.e. functionally a 1-shot cop at worst. may, anonygoose, zone, daeron, gummy, and arctic are all claiming some flavor of investigation. anonygoose is claiming a clear on everyone who visited his target which seems exceedingly implausible in the face of the flipped roles.
there is no way town ends up with like 4 different roles that can all confirm people immediately, that would not pass review in any world. ishmael is not going to be the sole town power but as it stands there is too much being claimed here to ever be balanced

Nah may’s role is just a mafia ability that they’re super-imposing an investigative claim onto. They perform the roleblocks they’re pretending to “see” it should be obvious
I’m just not convinced may would be that blatant that they’d try and claim that so I have benefit of the doubt vibes on that
That is also a high possibility. I trust may to be a player to make this type of fake claim and theres nothing really in it that i feel is not faked.

The fact if that’s a real ability then there’d be no way for the hosts to mechanically know if someone was going to be roleblocked in the future, there is literally no way for anyone to know that unless the ability itself is causing it

ironically this makes me like hazard more, given his role seems to fit a singular niche that has not really been claimed by anyone else (at least at this point in time). i do not think the setup exists with no method of stopping kills so unless one of the unclaimed players counter him he is more likely town than not.
relatedly i do think it’s a decent look for jarek. this is annoying because when i left i was preparing to wolfcase him because it felt like he was attached to pushing me in a way that went beyond reason and felt like he was moving the goalposts. (i had also felt like there was a lot of soft defending between him and may that had w/w potential). but as it stands it feels like he has a functionally vanilla equivalent role which is sort of…what i’d expect in terms of maintaining some manner of balance in the setup. i don’t think it’s hard clearing by any means but i think it’s a decent look.

that is true. which is why i was outlining it as maybe its an assumption but without it being highlighted i dont think it would be the case.
