it’s just like what the fuck is supposed to happen. people are dug in on the trenches and either someone decides to talk about a person who hasn’t talked so people arbitrarily pile on because in a game you are only as good as what you have posted in the last 10 minutes, or they consolidate to the inevitable but people wait until the last minute because they want to put it off or they are hung up on pet reads or are scared of the optics
but at any rate it’s all so pointless, it’s such a ridiculously unfun thing to deal with

but even here it feels like people are afraid to take charge and who can blame them
people took a swing on achro day 1 and they were wrong but that is just part of the game, and today there’s been a ton of recriminations over that vote
so it’s not really surprising that people are afraid to step up and lead under the possibility of massive blowback
