hi guys its mist here i expect to be dead so i’m sending this as a legacy post - i don’t want my reads to be taken as anywhere near gospel but hopefully they’re good enough to give the rest of y’all a jumping off point for d3

confident town - do not kill these slots today:

slightly less confident town:

luka - as long as they’re alive, leash their shots to a pool of ~2-3 players and if they keep living, analyze their choices of shot

apart from ~rand lurker slots like tasqar, the main people i think should face scrutiny today are zug, ybw, hazard, and kiiru

zug we talked about yesterday but i think his eod1 was bad and his content yday was lacking - it is also very possible he gained some sort of ita immunity, in which case i would place heavy suspicion on the people saying to let him live until itas

speaking of i think ybw’s eod was really bad so i’m heavily reconsidering that slot especially if zug flips w/ita immune - i haven’t gotten the chance to properly iso her but i’ll try my best to include it if i can find the time

hazard and kiiru are two slots that have kinda been under the radar in my view - i don’t think either has done anything especially villagery and neither has had much attention, though i saw a post from hazard that made me think they werent w/w (and were probably v/w in fact) - he said kiiru was a wolf if he avoided reading him and kiiru did exactly that on d2, so i’m inclined to think there’s at least one wolf in that pair

other slots i have thoughts on:

i think brad has not been as towny as people are saying he is, but i am notoriously bad at reading him - i just think his eod voting and willow shot were all pretty wolfy. i don’t think he should be killed today necessarily but i’m against including him in towncore

i kind of hate retro’s eod yesterday it seemed like he didn’t care at all about who went over but i remember people saying he had good spew or something so id put that into discussion

i thought carroty was kinda wolfy at a few points but she did have some good stuff so im not at instakill level there - i know gocj had him town when i brought him up and their reasoning wasnt terrible

apart from this, all i have to say is to keep yourselves motivated - the easiest way to win as a wolf is to roll over a tired town in endgame. even with the misses we had yesterday we’re off to a good start, just don’t lose sight of what we’re doing and don’t burn yourselves out - like i said to gummy earlier, i’d rather a villager give 40% through the whole game then 100% for two days then 10% in endgame. make sure you’re having fun! it makes you play better i’m dead serious

at this point in the game, i expect it to just be won by people just killing outside their townreads, especially given a lot of this game is significantly lower posters

prolly just. play the game super normally. assign people who can do stuff to specific things and don’t just implode. try to at least get a shotlist and stuff out by a trusted person

my head is at “uhhhhh”
because i think ther’s a ~small subset of players who there’s probably a couple wolves in (beancat zug carroty tasqar); but then there’s the other general groups of “people who i think are towny but other people say not (benguined hazard YBW)” and “people who i don’t think are as towny but other people say they are (tepig nutella Italy)” and I don’t think following either is right but the only theoretical solution is reading more & i’m kind of approaching that point; i think ideally i can adapt my reads based on what happens; generally think both of your towncores are agreeable (with minor grumbles about lukeh but i can deal with that)
oh psyx can live for now

also i might still be confused about the BoTC event prize; they said it was like a “split” jailkeeper i assumed that meant they all submitted targets but only one went through??

eh it’s probably that tepig alone got a jailkeeper (odd if clocktower club has things to say about how BoTC event went).
