Long shot, but does anyone recall if there was any sort of Cattail role in astand’s Ciconia Mafia?
I was trying to look for it, but that game and setup sadly seems to have been lost to time on the old forums.

I am suspicious of catbae for pretending to be shocked something needs to be ‘approved’ in a game that was publicly declared to be bastard. I think hosts can do whatever they want in bastard games by definition, plus I find it odd that catbae isn’t expressing skepticism that the message is real.
I think he expressed skepticism later since I skimmed the posts before I started posting.
My point is that his claim that he is “shocked” is a lie. I don’t believe that he got shocked. He is a forum mafia veteran.
Jokes aside, I can understand this perspective, and am not going to treat it as an incorrect way to play. The issue I do have is saying that it’s optimal and encouraging others to do the same.
If you don’t feel confident untangling the mechanics of a bastard game, I don’t think it’s necessary to force yourself to - but I do, and others might as well.

Not really sure how to treat the potential… three? NPCs we have (Cattail 5.0, IV, and the reverse) and was hoping that astand’s past games would give me some clues.
I appreciate tutuu’s posts in an attempt to get the game going, and I share most of their (?) sentiments with regards to treating a bastard game like Mountainous.
