I don’t see how this is a point for ignoring mechanics? Assuming this is true, we would know that the innocent child reveal wasn’t real either by you claiming it or upon your flip. There’s still plenty of reason to think about it mechanically.

i mean i could see how this could work with town.
giving someone you trust a way to gain trust with everyone even if it could come back to bite you is a town focused idea. especially with the idea of it being given to someone else. and it saying “Regardless of allignment”
but the ability itself as ash and gummy both did clarify can be an evil sided ability to.

The reason to claim it is meowl being cleared as town. Meowls hero reveal is meaningless due to my role. Meowls Hero ting is flavor text. Meowl could be publicly revealed as Mafia and it would still be meaningless.
And yes im never using it
its probably specifically better for clearing a town read, if u were to use it, and not on someone u think could be mafia
I think his point is that if he (as presumably a town member) got that, mafia could have gotten similar things.
I strongly agree that this isn’t a reason to discard mech entirely, but I understand his perspective here.
I think the role could be good if you were like cop who had a greencheck or something

I understand that, but I don’t agree. That role is perfectly balanced as a town role, but would be unfun to play against as a mafia role. The fact that he has that as town is not at all an indicator of what the mafia might have.

if this was an evil ability they could just easily keep it secret. make another player of their faction gain this innocent child call.
