I’m inclined to put fairly little weight onto the Mark of Annihilation/Art of Transmutation stuff?
I think the ability has a pretty high chance of being a red herring of sorts as a way to disincentivize us to actually execute someone Day 1. The ability is pretty much the poster child of being unfun/powerful, in that it either does noting or ends the game.

To me, the simplest way to remove the risk of that ability is to cut it off at the source by eliminating the player responsible for it.
If anything, my concern is that it is not intended to be guessed on its own, and is simply intended to serve as a way to prevent further debuffs from being claimed.

Maybe this verges in the realm of modgaming too much, but imagine if you’re astand, you spend months or years crafting this complex bastard game, and then you let this ability through and the game randomly ends on Day 2 because scum made a lucky guess.
All of your work is for naught and the community sentiment regarding the game goes in the dumpster.

I have an 18 hour train tomorrow (24th) to Ohio, an all day event with some friends on the 26th, and then another 18 hour train ride back on the 28th. I will make my best attempt to read while on the train, and will carve out some free time to play on the inbetween days. I can not promise anything approaching consistency but I can lay it out for y’all to expect it or for your general understanding of my oog situation for the first two days of the game.
