Both of these arguments from catbae feel weird to me. The texture is off. Something’s up. But I can’t figure out if… the dissonance is something that comes from him being a wolf, or if it comes from playstyle differences that might be due to not trying to make “smooth” and appealing arguments. I’m in a weird place on catbae RN.

Ur free to read any of my games, my wolf game is relatively weaker in terms of the fluidity of my reads, and I’d argue my handling of partners, because I can never seem to find a nice balance between either hard bussing them, or hard town reading them is also one of my weak points. I would absolutely not try to read me on tone and micro townie things because my nickname is submarine Wisp for a reason lol

I wouldn’t consider smooth arguments a weak point of catbae’s town game, since they articulate them self really well, I can’t speak for the reaction to pressure, because honestly I don’t have a recent game where they ever had to deal with it. If u want I can send u an older game where town!catbae had to go toe to toe with wolf!Chris, if it helps

how in the world did you come up with these thoughts in regards your advice, my advice just tells me to trust my felllow town, which I guess now that I am thinking about, maybe its insinuating that Ive been wrong, and I should trust other peoples’ reads

for what its worth to Catbae, I think this whole entire post is a bunch of nothing, and I am not arguing its wolfy for Tutuu, maybe it is, but like I dont have any reason to be town!tutuu’s brain wouldnt also come up with this
- Hosts can do w/e is inherently bullshit, because games have a review process for a reason
- There is nothing alignment indicative from not believing that, unless better context can provided
- “He is a forum mafia veteran” is a pretty shady response, and again, a nothing burger

What about it reads as a sincere re-evaluation? letting Jarek marinate, or the self-awareness? Proph is going to play the game looking townie regardless of their alignment, the only thing that changes is the process of which they go about. Proph and me both try to play it ways that make it easier for town to find us, that goes for both our town and wolf games, cause its ez to work with town when other town can find u, and its easier to manipulate their world view as a wolf, if they have u as town. But I think there likely a difference between how wolf!proph and town!proph solves the game inbetween that.
Proph is likely still somewhat busy, but I still believe the “Newcomb Tell” kinda holds true for them, and they or anyone can argue its shady, but on macro level I dont really think they’ve been that townie, I think in bubbles their evaluations of certain reads, reads townie, like their read of both Hippo, and their meta dive of Pandora
I also kinda still believe wolf!Proph doesnt write that post they did about me near eod 1, IDK, i want them to be town, since me and Proph have never once been town together outside our hydra, since like the early myanimelist days, and thats before we really even became friends I think, honestly I’d be sad if Proph is a wolf here

and speaking of Jarek, the way they read things is wild to me, I dont find omgusing really wolfy, I honestly think in most cases nowadays its townie, but the nerve to write, “I havent been at my computer, what reads do they expect me to give”, which I dont believe is a lie, but unless im missing context, how exactly is Proph suppose to know this? like idk, maybe town!jarek in that position where two wolves Catbae and Proph tried to bully them, and Jarek caught them both for wrong reasons, but I dont dislike either of their callouts towards Jarek. I feel like I am going in circles

- one thing I noticed going through Kazo’s iso, is a string of posts that is them only interacting with Snowe/Proph/Catbae
- Proph’s post towards Catbae about them having played with a different name, could be a distnacing attempt
- Catbae/Proph both defending Kazo (someone can correct me if I am wrong here, I know catbae did)
- Kazo’s ability targetting snowe, is still interesting, they claim it was random
- Snowe’s reaction to it (I kinda dont think its w/w, but I wouldnt bet my life on it)

well for one, “as either alignment” could make sense if the action came from another wolf, and they are also a wolf, but we already know that’s not the case, since Kaiser got modkilled lol
I could also argue it feels like a wolf caught for the wrong reasons
