i’m kind of annoyed at the game right now but i thought wazza making a big deal over making that massive hood came across as LAMIST-y to me, like they are anticipating picking up cred specifically for that action but

It’s in my impression of Wazza’s town game that they tend to focus heavily in on one subject, often a mechanical one.
I don’t think my action is a straightforward alignment cop, hence my approach; my take is that if it were, it’d have been on whether my target is a Conspirator, not a member of a Cult. The conversion + the name Agnifirel makes me believe that Cults are evil (in response to Rue’s question in #2946), but that’s not explicitly stated in my roletext.
I’ve seen a lot of fake redchecks, and I just came out of a game where a wolf faked a redcheck on one of their own members. Admittedly, in hindsight, Hippo almost certainly wouldn’t have done so as a Cult member, but from my perspective, I saw a guy who I’d just found as being a Cult member claiming a redcheck on one of my top townreads and jumped to conclusions.
I don’t think I’ve played optimally, but I don’t think I’ve played purposelessly.

i looked/skimmed over the games prop linked me and i think they are pretty firmly in their town meta right now. granted these games are from a couple of years ago so the meta could have shifted but from what i saw prop has a lot more thoughts (esp like deep thoughts) and takes the time to ask people how others play/what meta others are on, while in the wolf game they don’t do any of that
there’s something else that’s not about their post count in general but the length of their posts- their posts tend to be fuller and more complete/less one-liney when town rather than wolf which is what they’ve been embodying here
so yeah glad to give prop a good townlean here

anyways doing that took a lot more energy than i was expecting so i’ll try to look at altina’s by the end of tn and otherwise I will just not mb guys i always think i can do more than i can

Even with all the experience I have with proph I wouldn’t place him anywhere off meta, and I’ve confidently call them town correctly before. They definitely don’t have that town!proph presence yet, but I haven’t hated their reads in bubbles

Oops I missed this. Honestly my Jarek read isn’t especially detailed, I just think it sounds vaguely pure and had a standard v!Jarek indignation reaction to pressure, which is pretty weak IMO. I can see w!Jarek? I feel like there was sometihng else that made me townread him but I don’t remember…

Both of these arguments from catbae feel weird to me. The texture is off. Something’s up. But I can’t figure out if… the dissonance is something that comes from him being a wolf, or if it comes from playstyle differences that might be due to not trying to make “smooth” and appealing arguments. I’m in a weird place on catbae RN.

Ur free to read any of my games, my wolf game is relatively weaker in terms of the fluidity of my reads, and I’d argue my handling of partners, because I can never seem to find a nice balance between either hard bussing them, or hard town reading them is also one of my weak points. I would absolutely not try to read me on tone and micro townie things because my nickname is submarine Wisp for a reason lol

I wouldn’t consider smooth arguments a weak point of catbae’s town game, since they articulate them self really well, I can’t speak for the reaction to pressure, because honestly I don’t have a recent game where they ever had to deal with it. If u want I can send u an older game where town!catbae had to go toe to toe with wolf!Chris, if it helps
