The announcement has no confirmation about their alignment or the mechanics of their role, and this is a bastard game. For all we know, it could have been a wolf modposter that said that.

I dont want to claim anything about my role due to potential wolf roles. I just want to say that I have good reasons to be extremely skeptical about any and all mech info in this game. There is a reason why I recommended everyone to disregard all mech, it wasnt just my opinion before the game. I formulated that opinion after I saw my role. Like this game is bastard bastard. At least my role is.

I will also be holstering all of my abilities forever by the way, in case I die and you guys see my flip and wonder what I did.

the mod post is too ambigious, and given their are many things we can infer, its still not something I care about

A game being bastard bastard doesn’t mean “disregard all mech”, it just means to be smart about it. “Revealing your role name doesn’t make you an innocent child” is fair, “ignore the role reveal because it’s unreliable” is not.

I, personally, think the way meowl used the role reveal was pretty villagery, I think it’d take some decent acting to go “oh yeah I thought I was an innochild” as a wolf

ya but the mech just says, “hero”, I mean I guess if someone specifically wanted to make a false mod message, why not write, “So so reveals to be town”

so I do kinda just believe its part of their ability, most definitely

Ok. I feel like I should risk anti claim then.

Guys, one of my abilities is to give a player of my choice a 1-shot Town Innocent Child reveal. When used, the host will publicly announce that player to be Town Innocent Child, regardless of that player’s alignment.

This is why I was advising to disregard all mech. Its just unreliable after I saw this.
