Am I thinking this wrong?
Regular roleblock would stop all actions a player performs, including factional.
Unless I’m misunderstanding you?
Ah then it’s all right
if only that was loud
it was a very good use of the hood that i found pretty tough to deal with
If we played like mountainous catbae dies d2 or at least he deserved to die d2 but i cant guarantee we kill the other wolves. D2 or d3. Gummy and Hippo socially just pocketed everyone. Im still not sure who the wolves were ngl
catbae
gummy
hippo
pandora
meowl
memekingpizza
The wolves just played better than town socially disregarding the mech, I think they win this even in a normal setup
you’re missing a couple
Lmfaooo
I am just upset i got removed before i could Quantum lol
I had everything prepared and then died.
I didn’t kill you!!
Sorry for the dumbtell
It was a spin bc i got 3 conspirstor rolecards and thought you were mafia w me befotr the hosts wete like “no” so i thought to er do the opposite to act more towny
I kept tinfoiling you for a reason <3
I trusted you but not enough to tell you my night actions
I had a suspicion the only reason you died because you have healing ability in the room with a mafia.
But like, the two mafia’s dying give me false sense of security
References, puns, random flavor stuff.

Necronomicon is also the wolf mechanic from Umineko 3, and it was basically unchanged in this game. -
Haunted Roleblocker
Hannah Teyde = Haunted
Cattails themselves are a running gag of sorts (Umineko 1 had Cattail, Ciconia had Liattac, Umineko 3 had Cattail Mk.III).
And obviously the idea of Good/Evil kings is taken from Throne of Lies / Forum of Lies. -

And the spellbook graphic as well from HoMM III.
It should be noted that the inscriptions in the spellbook made “in obscure arcane language” are actually legible text in a special font. In theory mafia could decipher those to get yet more hints about spells (I remember some of them are kinda joke-y though). -

Danet Goettsch - I think those were random names from Geneforge 1.
The entire role is a reference to Geneforge series (not that well known games, but I love especially the first one). -
The Knot of Gentanel
Gentanel - entangle
The gimmick of the neighborhood is obviously inspired by Quantum Mafia.
Odin Alizer, Dva-Bob Urak, Triya Caroline = One, Alice; Two, Bob; Three, Carol (numbers if spoken in Russian, and names used for thoughts experiments related to quantum mechanics sometimes). -

Heinrich Remarque = Remark = Kramer backwards - reference to Heinrich Kramer, author of Malleus Maleficarum. -
Clairvoyant Tracker
Feris Aito = Foresight -

Brittle Dawn = Wind Battler (anagram)
Reference to wolves that endgamed in Umineko 2 and their flavors. -
Scholar of the Unbroken Circle
Kondak Krug - Kondak = Dak’kon; Krug is Russian for ‘circle’.
The role is mostly Planescape: Torment reference (Dak’kon is a character from there and has an Unbroken Circle of Zerthimon).
Additionally it’s osie’s 18th Circle of Hell reference.
The origin of “WARP MAZE League” is stupid and shall remain a mystery forever. -

I took name Morgana from the name of the witch in The House in Fata Morgana. -
Rue’s fake flip
Pelasin Kursis = Placing curses.
Extra:
Flavor backstories of Cult Leader, Washed-up Paladin and Firefighter JOAT are all connected (refer to the same incident). That Cult Leader really is the person responsible for killing the family of Firefighter’s fiancee, and is the guy searched by the paladin.
Well, he was before the witch killed him and cut out his face. (btw I imagine lore-wise the False Face thing involves literally putting on faces of the victims and casting a special spell to make you look like them).
The name of the setup was derived from An Odyssey to the Castle of Vampires, and The Turnabout in the Lighthouse of Lunacy. Cool mystery stories. The latter is my second favourite Ace Attorney fancase.
Also, I’m very pleased with how the voting is going.
@Lord_Archibald_Curst Bet it’s not what you’ve been expecting?
You guys might ramble and complain, but deep inside you all realize that this game is a flawless masterpiece, and that you can’t get enough of it. I know that you will be happy to play it endlessly.
