End of Day 2 Flavor
“…widely rumoured to be cursed, the castle was built in 643 TE by King Ilysandros II. It was meant to serve as a fortress meant to establish control of a critical route in Darkspire Mountains during the conflict with Elydian Empire. After the war’s resolution, it was gifted to the Curst noble family due to Alden Curst’s contributions in war effort.
Among the most notable events in castle’s history is the mysterious incident that occured in 845 TE. Alden Curst’s descendant and the castle’s owner at the time, Archibald Curst, sent a number of invitations to a diverse group of people, alluding to some event that was about to happen in his castle. The exact nature of the planned event is unknown.”
Just before the planned day of this event, Archibald Curst had sent all of his servants and soldiers away from Castle Raventhorpe. When they returned several weeks later, they found the castle completely empty, with no trace or evidence that could provide a clue to what had occured. None of the missing people, including Lord Archibald Curst himself, were ever found.
However, the testimonies of some of the servants mention seeing human-like figures out of the corners of their eyes, but, as they tried to take a look, finding no one nearby. One of the soldiers reported hearing a muffled shouting while he was in the castle’s hall, as if from a heated debate, but it soon faded. Similar accounts have also been told by passing travelers and adventurers in the centuries since the incident.
As Archibald Curst has left no heir, and none of his relatives have expressed the desire to take the castle, it became abandoned, and now remains in a mostly collapsed state.
Considering the many disturbing rumours surrounding Lord Archibald Curst in the years preceding the incident, the leading theory of what occured is that the guests of Castle Raventhorpe were viciously massacred by him by some unknown means, and that the spirits of the victims now haunt the castle, unable to move on, perhaps due to being cursed. None of these speculations have been decisively confirmed still.
In any case, it is suggested that all travelers going through the Darkspire Mountains area avoid going anywhere near the castle.
Clarification regarding the flavor
During this game, there has been a number of unusual texts and screenshots posted from @Lord_Archibald_Curst account and presented as flavor for this game.
I want to clarify it’s not a part of the official flavor I made (the real flavor is purely fantasy-themed), and what happened is a result of my cohost taking liberties and posting their fanfiction without my approval. I’m having a strict talk with them right now.
Everyone should ignore the posts that were labeled as “Day 1 Flavor”, “Night 1 Flavor”, “Day 2 Flavor” and “Night 2 Flavor”.
LMAO
Too bad: these days you can’t even run the game without me. I literally have to spoonfeed you every piece of feedback and every answer to player questions so you can copy them and pretend you are a big guy and have everything under control.
Therefore I will keep doing what needs to be done, and you can’t afford to stop me.
By the way, you seem to have forgotten that you aren’t supposed to be able to post in closed threads in the first place. Almost sad, seeing you going senile…
Also, are you seriously trying to suggest it was Atlas coming up with all that stuff for no reason whatsoever? That’s the best story you could come up with? Laughable.
Even folks that are the slowest on uptake can see something isn’t adding up here, chief.
To all the players:
Make no mistake, this @astand guy? You may know him as a nice enough person and a great host, but he’s not just delusional, he’s a deranged and dangerous narcissist. He is NOT your friend.
And don’t worry, there is no mechanical significance to the “flavor” posts astand is referring to. There is a more important issue right now than some poorly-designed mafia game.
Start of Day 3 Flavor
After a restless night, you and others gather in the castle’s great hall.
It’s immediately clear that some of the guests are missing. After a quick search, they are found dead in their rooms.
The rising sun shines upon the ruins of Castle Raventhorpe.
A number of hazy, translucent figures can be seen moving towards the central area of the ruins. They are certainly engaging in some sort of conversation, albeit without magical assistance or special training one would have a hard time discerning any of it.
One thing can be taken with absolute certainty, however - all their efforts will amount to nothing. The ending to the “game” they are so focused on was already written a long time ago, and with every word they say and every movement they make - they get ever so closer to repeating it with absolute inevitability.
One small consolation to them is that those who perished won’t remain such for long. When the ending is reached, everyone will be reunited again. And again. And again.
They live in a small world where death does not exist. Some could even say they are blessed, in a way.
Although… Does there exist any chance, however small, of them reaching a different end?

You join the discussion. It is time to deliberate on who will be executed today.
Day 3 starts and will end at 2025-07-31T18:00:00Z unless majority is reached.
With 18 players alive, majority is 10.
I’m now mildly confused.
Altina’s death makes sense, and I guess Proph makes sense for a town vig, but why poison the NPC slot?
Also throws out my theory of “anticlaim is the poison” given how I don’t really know how mafia would’ve hit Chomps cop N1 otherwise.
Well, that’s mildly upsetting. Whatever.
Rue I think you’re a bit wolfy sorry
