Play at your own risk [?KRC]: Game Over - Town Victory

I have a cabin neighbourhood with Min, Leafia and Jake.

Who has received Raphael information yet?

What about the neighbourhood that Gorta was referring to, the one that his opening post pulled from?

Casino. Gorta, Min and I.

Why does your POE contain Min instead of Gorta? It isn’t just because I suspected Min more yesterday, right?

That reactiontest pretty much clears Min.

PoE’s from last night, Min only did the RT today, I didn’t take that into account. Gorta isn’t included because he was confirmed to have Jake’s role and to have given a doctor to Leafia, but thinking through that… it’s not really confirming. He has been towny, though.

Anyway, my points against Nuto are that he’s been playing a mostly passive game which I agreed looked good on the surface, and he demonstrated a lack of TMI on the first day that I thought wouldn’t have applied to a player in an active team, which doesn’t hold up now looking at the flipped Coven and the pool of suspects. Until such a time that new information comes in, I have to assume one of my townreads are wrong and so I would like to look here first.

(#1306) Nuto established their willingness to vote Zenon (someone they didn’t actively scumread) at a time when Nuto was the top voted player and Zenon was actively working to keep him in the game. This comes across as a preservative behaviour.

Magnus (1): Leafia
Min (1): guavagudetama

Not Voting (7): May, Hazardwaste, CRichardFortressLies, Magnus, crazynuto, Gorta, Min

I do really need to think about this game and draw conclusions, don’t I. When I was updating my spreadsheet, I went and entered all my games, and man… there’s not one on this site that I genuinely feel proud of. A lot to do with the loss streak, of course, but even among my wins, there’s none where I look at my performance and go hey, that’s me, I did it… I should change that.

Gorta has been townie. I told him to consider the worldview that Zenon hadn’t been spewed town off Aro’s flip, and he was instead bussing/displaying TMI because something was obviously wrong, but that went nowhere.

when did you say that?

Dojo, Casino, it’s all in the mind.

@Magnus Is there any more information on the Guava greencheck that you can give us?

Nuto’s reasoning for all of their townreads (save one) is dependent on vibes. He’s correct in saying that calmer players are more often than not aligned with the town, but actually this post is the reason why I think it’s Nuto and Hazard. The first three reads are generally kept loose, asking for his read on Zenon to be ā€œtaken with a grain of saltā€, having ā€œnever seen [me] as a wolfā€ (which as stated prior is technically correct but in practice false given our experience in social deduction together), and how he doesn’t ā€œknow much about this pineapple thingā€. The Gourmet Guy scumread here intrigues me because it turned out to be correct, and Nuto’s reasoning (that nobody really talked about them) is also weird because Leafia was the initial person to learn about this role, and Nuto didn’t acknowledge Leafia’s coven mention afterwards either (#1578). Considering that we know now that Leafia exposed Gourmet Guy’s alignment, this feels like a necessitated read for him to make.

As for Hazard, Nuto goes in another direction. The same obligatory ā€œmaybe they’re very good at playing it coolā€ is there, but Nuto firmly adds ā€œbut [they’d] like to think they’re good.ā€œ

In our neighbourhood.
I’ll link it for you.

Damn you’re even convincing me.

I do think I’ve outlived my usefulness as a townie though, so if there’s a ton of heat on me I don’t mind taking a fall.

I’m just gonna read through all this Raph statements and see if I can piece something together, logic vs vibes.

Sure, because it isn’t intuitive from my flip and it’s pretty important. I borrowed a power that included at least an alignment cop and rolecard modification that I used to peek Guava’s role.

@Magnus When you, Gorta, and min say that Gorta’s opening post here sounds similar to the discussion in the Casino:

How similar are we talking? Do you think it was definitely written by someone in the neighbourhood, or is it just a passing resemblance? How much have you discussed this?
