You’re good.

Cant believe youre fighting with Atlas when we havent even finished our chess game yet

It occurred to me that since I hadn’t played a game of Chess in a previous town game, it was a difference that might have been noticed and seen as scum indicative so I dropped it.

Coward.

In all seriousness, is it okay to run a small and simple misc that may or may not conflict with the beginning of FAM?

I could invite you to a game on Chess.com right now, unless you like the notation.

Why did that hyperlink hello?

That sounds like an actual game of chess. I wouldn’t have the escape of the inherent humour of playing chess in a mafia game to fall back on to cope with my loss.

Luckily, I love losing.

Chess shouldn’t be scum indicative. May played Chess this game and he was Town. I’ve nagged her and others to play Chess in the past as well. If I only played Chess, fair enough, but I didn’t do that.

how small and how simple

note: I consider BotF neither

um
question
what does a misc have to do with a fm game

Teensy BotF?

It’s fine. We could get together a small group on Nerdcord instead if people were down.

depending on the misc it could still result in the two games competing for time and attention, which is undesirable in a mash like FAM

obviously depends on the Misc, minority rule would be fine but BotF is basically just FM

if a player wants to compete in two games at the same time won’t they do it anyway on a different site

that’s more effort so people are moderately less likely to do it if they aren’t already super active [edit: on other sites]

also, like, if some game goes up for signups just before FAM, and no one joins, that’s also sad for the hosts
