Why would anyone, especially a villager need to say this? Of course you won’t townread someone for discussing things that don’t really need to be discussed instead of you know, maybe makkng reads? It just sounds artificial to me.

i think the discussion of the main mech is helpful especially at the start of the game btw. having a somewhat understanding of the game state before getting into the nit and gritty of reads is fine. unless its less of that more about the vibes?

I understand that but for people like me who dont have socials come to them as naturally as others. i like having something to talk about to get myself into the game and into the vibe.

for Pandora, since I was asked about her specifically, I see a decent amount of trying to get others to give reads without actually giving very much herself. Claiming to have caused punishing bird to breach might be important at some point but is currently NAI. Slight wolflean.
Chomps is currently a player that socially reads pretty bad to me, but their interactions with the abnormalities (at least claimed interactions) seem far more reckless than I would expect from a mafia member. It’s possible that the mafia have more info than town on them, of course, but since that’s just baseless speculation I give them a begrudging townlean.
I dislike the actual takes of Gocj, I’m not a fan of how quickly they jumped on using such incredibly specific mech spec for reads, but it does read fairly town, I think a mafia would have tried something more substantial. Townlean.

your mental pandora model needs an update im always shy with reads because my headmates have conflicting reads and it gets us killed badly. this is self meta so it’s not as useful but it’s KNOWN self meta and theres no way lying about it benefits me
this goes back to my NLM days also. if you look. i basically never made readlists on tiermaker for the same reason
Likely true, and the read is slight enough I likely wouldn’t have bothered making it if not asked about you specifically, but I’m not about to give a neutral read on a player I’ve been asked about.
sure. i currently think of Litten and Chomps as likely to be good:
Litten is not only speaking a lot, but its posts have a lot of actual thought and meaning behind them in a way that looks pretty town-like to me
Chomps I agree with you on that the vibes aren’t particularly good but mechanically they’ve helped town and have done a lot that Mafia would be cautious on. Also tracks that they’re not afraid to do these things based on the very early claim of having a not-very-strong role

my personal reasoning for choosing The Road Home is that it’s the only abnormality that hasn’t shown any effects yet, and is a low enough threat level for me to think it can have an immediate effect. Funeral for Dead Butterflies would likely be my second choice if I had a second vote, since it both doesn’t have any immediately intuitive effects, and has already breached once, but it’s been suppressed, and it’s hard to know how soon it will be a problem again.
