It’s mainly a mixture of people. I’ve had thread control, Misty had thread control, even Leafia had thread control and Hazard. I think all of these people are town and okay Leafia wasn’t the most outspoken but she was loud and all the other people have a lot of posts. This game currently is a mixture of people handing off the baton to each other throughout the day which has led to the wagons stated here.
I can’t forgot about Chomp. Chomp also voted Carrot and was one of the biggest advocates for them.
*looks at votes*
Jarek (3): Leafia, Mistyx, Litten
Before this, you were sitting on Carroty as well. “People with thread control”; 3/5 are on Jarek wagon; 2/5 are still on Carroty wagon.
Where the Mafia at?
Well it would have been Zoe, who’s been around quite a bit but hasn’t provided much in the way of meaningful content, but I’m suddenly very suspicious of Zone, who irrespective of the vote being on me, placed a vote on a new wagon without even having any personal conviction on it, solely on the claimed basis that other players might vote on it. That reads to me as a mafia trying to get a misvote without being tied to the read.
This is where I currently believe the mafia are at. I’ll re-evaluate my town reads later if I think I need to. I think my reasons for town reading the people I am right now are good enough for today. I don’t know explicitly where the mafia are I’m not a mind reader. All I know is I can amplify other people and see where that leads us.
Do you have any suspects yourself?

placed a vote on a new wagon without even having any personal conviction on it
Well duh. Look at other wagons. Jarek, Leafia, “unvote”, meowl. Not scummy, not scummy, not a player, not playing.
I don’t like all of them → Find better person to vote. Searching. . . Found nothing. No negative bias. Option: Use other people’s scumreads.
If I put Carroty on a balance against anyone else, then I choose anyone else, 'cuz nobody wishing for Carroty’s survival is sus in itself.
That is such Zone Logic.

Do you have any suspects yourself?
None. I have no beef with anyone, and the only sus thing I have read throughout D1 was Carroty’s press on Chomps.
But:
- Carroty retracted their vote on Chomps
- Nobody is defending Carroty
Conclusion: Back to zero.
Not to play devils advocate or anything but like, consider the context itself
If “trusted” townies are pushing and being on carrot wagon, would wolves openly try to defend them despite the earlier posts being not townie? Wouldnt it make more sense for them to either a) try to save them by bringing this logic of “Oh nobodys defending them they could be town!” or b) being ready early on for a bus?
When one wagon is way ahead of other wagons and doesn’t have any competitors, then two things come to my mind. It’s either:
- Outed Mafia
or - DADV Town
But Carroty’s only “bad action” (AFAICR) was their interaction with Chomps. They don’t look like an outed Mafia. Ergo: DADV Town.
In DADV, why would Mafia bother changing the gamestate? They are already ready to vote out a Town, so there is no need to divert attention by making counterwagons.
You can also sit comfortably on block for mayority of the day and yet only the last hours or even minutes of the day is what normally matters when it comes on terms of execution, mafia can be playing around this logic
i dont think the thread has been controlled in the traditional sense its just kind of been flowing

would wolves openly try to defend them despite the earlier posts being not townie?
Ways of defending Mafia is not limited to defending Mafia’s actions. Most easy way to defend “subtly” is by pointing out another Town’s misbehavior, and pushing for that wagon.
Yet Carroty’s wagon formation was undeterred. No-one said: “Hey, we should go after X instead!” (Well. AFAICR Mistyx is starting to push Jarek, but like: This is way too late for a change in wagons.)
That’s what I mean by passing the baton

This is way too late for a change in wagons.
Isnt this exactly the time that does matter tho? being close to EoD

a) try to save them by bringing this logic of “Oh nobodys defending them they could be town!”
But it’s been too long. IMO Mafia would’ve used this argument by the 4th vote or smth. Yet thread was silent during Carroty’s wagon formation; no resistance until now, at EOD.

b) being ready early on for a bus?
IMO bussing is uncommon. (Except for Leafia.)
Town-Mafia ratio is unknown. Presence of Neutral is unknown. If Mafia has 3 players, then bussing is unlikely to be beneficial. Even if Mafia has 4 players, bussing early is a very weird choice.

You can also sit comfortably on block for mayority of the day and yet only the last hours or even minutes of the day is what normally matters when it comes on terms of execution, mafia can be playing around this logic
You forgot to think about one thing: Not all players are guaranteed to be present at EOD. If we go by your logic, then all Mafia and some Town will be present at EOD. Else Carroty is guaranteed to die by numbers.
90-ish minutes until day ends.
5 votes on Carroty, 3 votes on Jarek. Everyone else either only has 1 vote, or are not being voted at.
I can try to vote [someone whom I believe is more likely to flip mafia] all I want, but since I disagree with other wagons, I won’t be affecting current wagons. And with current wagons, I find it unlikely that anyone besides Carroty will die.
Welp I guess I’ll probably just ISO everyone and give my thoughts on them end of day is in like, 1-2 horus right?
