Human Favoured Class Option for Sorc: Add one spell known from the sorcerer spell list. This spell must be at least one level below the highest spell level the sorcerer can cast.
could someone clarify what entirely this means? from my pov itās just āgain a cantrip. if you later remove this cantrip, you can gain a spell below your highest spell levelā

other than intimidate im putting my background skill points into linguistics and learning a few languages. could be useful. right now i have common, orc, goblin, giant. i want gnoll and cyclops too so i can āpersuadeā all the greenskins
basically
levels 1-3: add a cantrip each level
levels 4-5: add a first level spell
so on and so forth

upon me leveling up iāll have +two cantrips, and three

my understanding is +1 spell of your second highest spell level each level

originally i had thought it was +1 spell slot that goes with you as you level up, so you have +1 cantrip till you get second level, then you get +1 level ones
