How do i do the equipment stuff
wait until you see a minmaxxed AC monk
investing in constitution seems like a scam. nothing seems to scale off of it (that i could find). you gain an additional HP point per level equal to your CON modifier, and that’s … it? so why would i invest a lot in it, i can just put my FCB into +1 hp every level. seems so bad to me (CON investment). maybe like a dedicated tank, tower shield specialist, or something. i read so much about fighter and im surprised how barely anything scales off of CON
Con determines your fortitude save
meaning - how do you select what you wanna take? are you using the table we are using or the one squirrel is using, btw?
survival skill could have easily scaled off of CON modifier
That would leave ranger and druid in a very awkward position
Unless you want to give them a free feat that makes it so that it scales off of something else instead
I don’t think I’ve seen a d20 system that actually makes con have skills
Concentration is the closest I believe
pathfinder does not fix this
unless you’re a 2e kineticist
fallout 1/2 has survival be a CON skill
(not a d20 system but thats where i got the idea from and i agree with how they did it thematically)
you’re hilarious
this should be done more often. like all sorcerers, or something i dunno, should be given proficiency in every skill based off charisma.
Their out of combat spells allow them to sometimes directly achieve the same outcomes as succeeding on a skill or outright give themselves bonuses to a stat so that their checks become easier (like eagle’s splendor)
yeah but i want more
i mean i rather think sorcerers are really weak and need a buff
They’re definitely weaker than Wizard and Clerics but like
They’re still a caster in a system based on 3.5e
despite this fact you still can’t get over not having heavy armor
For the record in our 3.5e campaign I picked Sorcerer, realized that it was much weaker than Wizard and decided I would instead permanently wear full plate and cast exclusively magic missile to bypass the arcane spell failure chance
