Brb gotta grab my nonlethal greataxe
you’d still be better at nonlethal than me and atlas
fascinating
i researched sooo much about it
normally u get a -4 atk penalty when trying to hit non-lethally with a lethal weapon. any lethal melee weapon can be used non-lethally. spells can too with a feat. idk about ranged weapons. some melee weapons are inherently non-lethal and u dont get the penalty, also including the merciful enchantment
there’s a 3.5e trait that removes penalty for slash weapons. bludgeoner feat removes them for blunt weapons
undead and construct enemies are immune to non-lethal damage
the bad thing about nonlethal damage is that it’s tracked separately from lethal damage, and healing spells heal both lethal and nonlethal simultaneously. so for instance if a creature has 7 lethal damage and 5 non-lethal damage, and its healed for 3, it now has 4 lethal damage and 2 non-lethal damage, effectively doubling healing received
an enemy knocked unconscious is effectively dead for the purpose of combat. but it opens up more out-of-combat problem solving opportunities
why have you looked up this much information
it’s simple. we all need to swap to non-lethal damage. we can change the world peacefully!
genuinely fire emblem fates conquest corrin ass party
i wanna (and still am) playing a demoralize build, before i was building around the enforcer feat, which gives the enemy shaken for X rounds, where X is each point of damage i give it non-lethally. i changed my mind because that was a powerhouse early game but it didn’t scale that good later and i wanted to be stronger later
Give that to me then, because if my character dies, then I want a backup character that is only strong in early-game and weak afterwards.
Yay
I think that 12 CON for a melee character might be a bit risky
U can get a lot of defensive spells eventually like mirror image. Just early levels might be scary for you (even if u increase ur CON). Some random lucky crit might one shot you
At the very least imo u should put ur FCB points in HP
Nah. It’ll be fine.
If you wanna go risky, then I’d have gone for 8 CON.
I assume this is the Human’s +1 HP or +1 Skill?
The +1 thing, everyone gets it. Can be put into HP, skill, or a bonus that’s specific for your race + class combo. (Half elves gain 2 of these). U gain one every time u put a level in ur favored class (which will usually be your starting class), including lvl 1
i have 120 foot darkvision
