Wanderer will follow the tracks.
He doesn’t even know why he’s doing this at this point, but he will succeed!
Canary follows after Wanderer, as she’s been doing for… a… while.
(is there a map of the roads in and out of Raven’s Nest?)
Lionel will still follow Wanderer. Surely this will lead to the end of the situation!
(it looks like it has a palisade, with a gate to the north and a different gate to the south. The village is technically off of the path you’ve been following, but it’s not, like, hard to access)
Like Granite Hill, Raven’s Nest is a little farming village, but it’s far from an exact copy of Granite Hill. It doesn’t seem like the village has much of anything resembling an inn at all, and based on the pictures on the signs, the largest building in town apparently belongs to a cobbler of all professions. This far from Granite Hill, the village does have its own cleric rather than relying on Agneta; from the bow hanging above the village’s only temple, you’d guess they’re a cleric of Erastil.
The tracks lead to an unassuming house, on the smaller side, with a white horse with black speckles tied out in front of it.
Pepper?
(we’re at the north gate, right?)
(You’d guess so)
(You’re entering through the north gate, yeah. The house is on the west side of the village.)
(is the horse by the gate?)
(nvm misread)
“Someone should secure the horse.” Drakor said as he approached the house. “She can’t get far on foot.”
He reached into his backpack and withdrew a warhammer and a sling, then tucked both on his belt. He moved his blades to his pack.
(the horse isn’t by the gate to the village, it’s by a house in the village)
“Ask around or check the house. Call it, Messire.”
“I’m not sure what asking around will get us at this point. May as well check the house?”
“Fair.”
Wanderer checks the house to see if the suspect is there.
Drakor finished adjusting his weapons. “We need a plan if we’re going in. We have a suspect, possibly hostile, who’s-”
He trailed off as he saw Wanderer go in, then cursed and followed.
Canary is… mindlessly fiddling with a handful of coins as she tries to step in, then moves to the wall to wait for the Messerie to pass her.
Lionel is kind of very exhausted, so doesn’t think much of walking into the house.
So they do
