(nice)
Yeah I’m not going to work out your effective modifier here, those both miss
You strike twice at Rafau, but the weapon in your left hand goes to his left, and the weapon in your right hand goes to his right.
He blinks “““innocently””” at you. “The meaning of this? Why, two ruffians are attacking me with no provocation. A shame, really. They had seemed so capable.”
Paprika frowns. “The person who made the tip is anonymous? Who was poking around an unused cellar and why? They’re our best lead right now. The symbol has clearly been here a few weeks.”

“You are attacking us. Not the other way around.” Zelsh replied as he struck out at the guard.
(Accidentally made a mistake on my character sheet that I don’t know how to correct. Could you fix it Arete? Also, not using power attack this time.)

yes, but you’ll need to tell me what it was so that I know what to fix
Also, your attack hits, roll damage

Zelsh’s sword easily finds a gap in Rafau’s chainmail, leaving a gash just below his shoulder.
Rafau’s been on the force for quite a few decades, and one of the things he’s practiced is nonlethal takedowns. His shortsword really isn’t the ideal weapon for this, but it’s the one he’s got; he sweeps it under Drakor’s legs, knocking him to the ground.
Drakor (@Squirrel2412), you are now Prone! Also, it’s your turn! proper explanation of how combat maneuvers work once I’m back on my laptop
(to be clear, you are allowed to just stand up again, but doing so will provoke an AOO)
(oh, and also, standing up counts as a move action, so you’ll only be able to make 1 attack if you stand up)
(can I do total defense and stand in that order?)
(i.e. so I get the defending bonus when I’m receiving the AOO)
(You can do that, although it would prevent you from attacking on that turn (since you used up your standard to Total Defense). In that case, your Total Defense bonus would still apply when you receive the AOO)
“We don’t know who it was. What with them being anonymous, and all.”
“Why are you doing this?” Drakor asked, rising to his feet with his weapons arrayed protectively.
(I’ll do that)
