[RP] Play-By-Post Pathfinder

Canary starts to listen for… doors opening.

“Well, you’ve got the wrong place. No one lives here but me, and I’m no murderer.”

(Drakor, Wanderer, as far as you can tell, he’s genuinely mad about the fact that random people just broke into his home, and telling the truth about not regarding himself as a murderer, but otherwise being dishonest with you. You also notice his eyes darting slightly in the direction of the door to the back room.)

“We need someone to cover the rear of the house,” Drakor hissed.

He moved towards the man. “What’s behind that door?”

Canary yawns, then moves outside to the back.

“I believe I may be mistaken then. My apologies!”

Lionel bows then leaves to the back of the house

(got it)

“Would you mind opening it?” Drakor said. “I have reason to believe the suspect-” he looked pointedly at Wanderer. “-is under threat, and for her safety should be escorted back home to her father and brother.”

Behind the house, the two of you can clearly see a single set of shutters, which are slowwwwwly easing open. After moving a couple inches, though, they stop.

Canary looks to Lionel.

‘You lead, and I’ll follow.’ she communicates.

(How do we even get this window open :sob:)

Drakor held out his arms in what he hoped was a non-threatening posture. “We just want to make sure nobody else gets hurt.”

“You’re not talking sense. Is this girl a murderer, or is she in danger? There’s no one in my house, and if there were anyone, I’d say they should get out rather than sticking around to talk to some suspicious trespassers.”

(When he says ‘get out’, you can hear him raise the volume slightly, as if to be sure of being heard.)
