[RP] Play-By-Post Pathfinder

The man picks up the kitchen knife, wielding it like a dagger, steps towards Wanderer, and jabs it into Wanderer’s side. “Let her go.”

It’s clearly not the weapon he’s used to, nor is it particularly designed to be a weapon at all, but you can tell from his stance and his technique that he’s seen combat before in some form, albeit in very different circumstances. From the gaps he’s leaving open, you’d guess that he’s used to fighting side-by-side with others, not alone or with random people in their twenties.

mechanics

(move action draw weapon, 5-foot step, standard action attack)

He takes a -4 penalty for wielding the knife as an improvised weapon.

Kamilla, on the other hand, is an amateur. She’s clearly had some measure of self-defense training, and she’s adept at aiming for particularly lethal spots, but as for actually hitting them… you’ve definitely seen better. It’s not hard to believe she could have killed someone if she caught them off guard, even given that she’s using a chisel, but you’re not off-guard, and it seems less likely to work on you.

Canary (@Atlas) is up

(is opening the window a standard action?)

(I would allow you to do it as either a standard or a move action)

(1, can I five foot step diagonally to get there, 2, is the tiny gap she made big enough to fire a projectile through)

(1: prooobably not but I was lenient with Random Guy’s 5-foot step so I’ll be lenient with you)

(2: yes but she would have cover)

Canary five foot steps to the window, opens it as a move action, and fires one of her three coins at Kamilla.
