[RP] Play-By-Post Pathfinder

(assuming that didn’t hit, end turn)

((Erm, ackshually… ))
((The action order wouldn’t change, but wouldn’t Zelsh’s initiative be 15?))

You dart towards the nearest grimple, raising your dagger, but its tiny size makes it a difficult target to hit; your dagger smashes into the barrel it’s sitting on.

There’s a chittering sound from the grimple in the corner, and you see a patch of some kind of slippery substance spread out on the ground underneath Bugi-Bugi’s feet and the surrounding area. Meanwhile, the grimple on the ceiling belches out a disgusting slime that resembles the slime ruining the food, aiming it directly at Bugibugi.

(tutuu, I need a Reflex save and a Fortitude save)

+3 reflex save, +8 fort save

:game_die: 4, 16

The terrible smell of the grimple’s slime is no issue for a strong warrior like Bugi-Bugi! But the other grimple’s tricks have turned the sturdy wooden floor into a greasy slick, and your feet slip out from under you as you fall to the ground.

(Bugibugi is Prone, the red square is affected by the Grease spell)

for reference:

Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can’t move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details). Creatures that do not move on their turn do not need to make this check and are not considered flat-footed.

Wanderer gives a glance back to Kamilla, then to the group. “Sure! Though I think a couple of us will need to pop in and out during.”

(and @Leafia is up)

((I know it’s Zelsh’s turn now, but could Arius jump over the greased tile, straight to the tile one below Bugibugi?))

((Alternatively, would I have to roll Acrobatics twice if Arius were to charge towards grimple-one, or is this straight-up impossible?))

The dinner is a fairly large event — besides your group and the couple hosting you, you’re joined by five children ranging from about two years old to about twelve, as well as an elderly woman. Still, there’s enough rye bread and cabbage soup with mutton to go around, and none of you are in danger of going hungry. The children’s questions are basically incessant:

“Is that a real sword? Can I try it?”

(From the expression on his parents’ face, they very much do not want their eight-year-old trying to use a sword.)

“You have NO HAIR! You must be OLD! How old are you?”

“Are you ‘venturerers? Wanna ‘venture!”

“What’s the coolest place you’ve ever visited?”

“Have you ever fought a DRAGON?”

(where’s kamilla in relation to us?)

You can jump as an Athletics check:

You can make jumps using Athletics. The DC is equal to the distance crossed (in feet) for a long jump or four times the height to be reached (in feet) for a high jump. If you don’t have a running start of at least 10 feet, double the DC.

In this case it’d be pretty challenging though, that’s two diagonals (15 feet), and you don’t have a running start, so it would be DC 30, which I think you straight-up cannot make.

You can’t Charge (as in, take the Charge action) to move towards the grimple, but you could just walk (at half speed) towards it, and you would only have to make the Acrobatics check once rather than once for each square
