“I am pleased to hear it.” She looked around at the group, noting the distinct absence of some of the figures she had previously believed to be involved. “Will this be everyone? I want to ensure anyone needed to testify can do so.”
Drakor frowned, though it was difficult to make out behind his mask. He slipped towards Leta. “Will you be coming?” he asked quietly.
She makes a face. “I can if it’s needed, but I don’t want to leave the village undefended. And I wasn’t there when you all caught up with Kamilla, anyway.”

“We do need a few to keep the village defended, Leta is right. It feels like those of us who caught Kamilla should come along, we’re more prepared for travel anyway.”

“It depends on the judgment of the magistrate. Of course, in the worst-case scenario we can send for anyone else who needs to testify, and it seems to me that this case has little room for doubt"

(to be fair canary is pretty definitively the ~second most useful witness!)
(of course, considering she is doing laundry and has zero idea anything is going on- someone may need to go get her.)

She gives you a slightly condescending smile. “It is not as if I can consult with the magistrate before our departure.” She looks at Kamilla. “In any case, it may not be an issue. She can hardly testify to her innocence, after all.”
“I would like to send for Canary to join us - as far as I’m aware she was instrumental in solving this case.”
“…mmmmm, aside from the guards Wanderer proposed and us three… who else…”
“Uhm. Should we bring Sten? That feels cruel, but he did attempt to claim the killer’s crimes as his own.”
