He stares down at you. “I suppose it’s acceptable for you to help an agent of the law. But be careful – don’t let any of those strangers see your powers, or you know what could happen.”
(the first thing i did when reaching l2 is add 1 skill point to bluff because of how much canary has straight up lied over the past two days.)
“Uhm. Yeah…” My near sobbing expression loosens up. Probably. I can’t really… look at my face too well. My vision is kinda blurry. “I…”
“Mhm.”
“Will that be all?”
I nod. And take the silence afterwards as my cue to… leave.
I return back to the water bucket.
(Canary did not expect that to work.)
Upon reaching it, Canary takes a look around for Drakor.
Drakor stepped out from behind the tree, tucking the abacus back into his pack. “Ready?” he asked.
“Uhm. Yeah…”
She quickly turns around and grabs two things out of the water bucket: the trousers she was inspecting earlier and thinks are probably hers, and an overcoat she’s 20% sure could maybe be hers. The overcoat seems to have a lot of buttons on it, and be somewhat in the shade of black.

The coat she grabbed would just barely reach past her thighs, making it potentially a suitable size for her- if it weren’t an overcoat. It’s definitely small on her, and thusly almost certainly not hers.
It doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable to wear, perhaps most similar to the design of a covert coat, and it would sorta match with the trousers she pulled out. Both are clearly still soaking wet.
A single tear rolls down her cheek. She’s hoping you failed to notice.
