“Then it seems like we’re at an impasse. I can’t have you running your mouth the moment my back is turned.”
“Valtyr? Do I really look young enough to be married to him?” She laughs nervously at her own joke, but it comes out as more like a hiccup. “I’m married to Rafau Ilyin, one of the senior Watchmen.”
Drakor blinked. Wow, he really does that a lot. “Ah. That makes more sense. We met him on the case too.”
He extended a hand. “My name is Drakor. What might I call you?”
((And/or? Welp, I’ll try K-Arcana first, and if that one’s netto is lower than 10, then I’ll do Spellcraft as well. Both of these are +7, so… Here’s to me hoping I don’t get the 15% chance!))

“Oh well.” Paprika doesn’t look especially disappointed. “And here I thought we’d get to the part of the mystery novel where the culprit confesses his crimes. No respectable detective would accept a bribe, though, especially not at those prices.”
(Can Rika roll Sense Motive to get a general idea of his Deal and motivations for doing this?)

Arius, not knowing who any of the two aforementioned names are, stays silent and focuses on identifying the magic aura within the house.
((I know their names, but Arius doesn’t.))
It belongs to the school of Conjuration
“Lesya.”
She takes your hand, but you can tell just from touching it that hers is a bit clammy.
((I assume a 23 is not enough to learn the specific properties at the same time… Very well. Time for a Spellcraft check.))

It’s a potion of Cure Light Wounds
Drakor shook it reassuringly. Well, as reassuringly as a 6 foot heavily-armed half orc could.
“If you do not mind me asking, Lesya, has your husband been acting odd recently? I have only recently met him, but when we interacted during the case he seemed… oddly formal.”
“What is it that you want, then? I’m happy to work something out, just as long as I can be certain you won’t be spreading nasty rumors about what happened.”
(Everyone, no matter how low their Sense Motive rolls, can tell that by ‘nasty rumors’ he means ‘the factual truth.’)
(He’s been careful to deny being a cultist, or worshipping Flauros. But when he said just now that cultists were “ignorant fools”, it seemed like he was speaking from experience. Whatever he was doing was clearly illicit, or he wouldn’t be so concerned right now.)
Having identified the source of magic aura, Arius expresses his surprise as he determines that there is nothing ominous about it.
He takes a step back, letting Drakor do the talking, and listens to the conversation in silence.
