How many times can I deny it before he actually tries to not pay me?
“Don’t worry about it.” That should be subtle enough. Paprika smiled graciously. “I am hardly wanting for wealth.” It’s not like I’m supporting my mother anymore.
…I wonder what she’s done to my stuff. It’s probably all torn up searching for valuables. She might find where I hid the projects with the nicer fabrics.

(there were the 2 Watch members who were escorting Rafau (plus Rafau), but this particular Watch guy was not)

“Oh, it’s the same cult. The watch also got a list of names which were seemingly members of this cult. I have advanced my investigation further and believe this list of names to be accurate and would like to collaborate to go about catching the group without letting the rest escape easily.”

“Would you mind if I ask about the approach the watch had in mind for handling this?”

(Zelsh, it’s hard to tell for sure how genuine he’s being after that liar Rafau.)
(Arius, Wanderer, you both get the sense that they really are planning to do that, and that (whether correctly or incorrectly) he thinks the Watch has it under control. It does seem like he’s being rather more brusque than in previous conversations, but it’s hard to be sure of why that is.)
