[RP] Play-By-Post Pathfinder

Wanderer will follow them, calling out that this is definitely from the killer.

“Sten. I know you are a good father. You wouldn’t have done all this nonsense unless it was meant to protect your daughter.” Arius breathes haphazardly, as he slowly sits up.

“But they are not adults yet. They still need you. It’s not just that. Imagine what other families would think of them if you keep up this charade. Do you really think they would be able to be happy, being accused of children of the murderer of an ex-magistrate?”

Drakor looked… vaguely annoyed at all the yelling, but continued tracking.

(let me know when it’s time for me to roll)

(you don’t need to roll again, I counted your first roll as also allowing you to follow the tracks)

Wanderer will do so until he catches up to the person who made them or something else really notable happens.

Canary (@Atlas) is the first to reach Tamila’s house. It seems like a fairly ordinary house, definitely smaller than Sten’s family’s home, but it does sound like Tamila is home.

(Wanderer and Drakor are presumably still following the tracks)

Does it look like there was any visible disturbance?

If not, the first thing Canary does is look to the field to see if she’s there, and if all of the horses are too.

“Another one?” Agneta shakes her head. “Well, I suppose I can do for you what I’m doing for him. Let’s see about getting those wounds closed up a bit first, though.”

She reaches for her magic, unweaving one of her prepared spells and reconstituting it into a Cure Light Wounds, then touches your hand gently.

(tbc, Tamila is at her house, not at the field. Either way, you don’t see the horse. But you also don’t see any sign of disruption or conflict — the door is still perfectly intact, Tamila’s whistling is audible, there aren’t any scuffle marks from a fight, and so on.)

“Better they be thought a murderer’s children than be thought murderers.”

(was looking for her husband (and assumed field was insight).)

Canary knocks.

“I’m not a murderer,” says Vin. “So you don’t have to worry about that, Dad!”

(oh, sorry, I misunderstood! do you want to retroactively go out to the field (the field is outside the palisade, the house is inside)
