I think this still requires Artemis to be a Minion if Jarek is, specifically as the Pit-Hag now Huli Jing, unless the Minstrel was drunk the previous night which wouldnât work from the proposed timing. Otherwise, Bakerâs death wouldâve triggered a Minstrel day, which would be indistinguishable from this anyway.
It reopens that door, though. In this world, presumably the Innkeeper saved a kill last night, or it was sunk to throw shade onto Baker during a Mastermind day.

This could be construed as evil in isolation, as a sort of âdonât bother solving for [X] and focus on [Y] instead to limit focus, but thatâs not really something I believe. I noted this while reading up.
