You can excuse them together in BMR because the Minstrel affects a lot. Its power level is similar to Tea Lady, actually.

Specifically, killing two good players and giving misinformation on who the demon is in the same night is too punishing for earlygame.
Consider that the Minstrel is obfuscated by most of the scriptās demons, except for Shabaloth.
