oh also regardless of alignment I’m not going to try to soft my role in the way I did in steward strikes back (namely, trying to make it pretty clear I had to decide on my claim early-on while also being ~hard to figure out) because I decided it’s kinda against the spirit of the game thbthtbhtbthbthbthbt
From your own perspective it might be a reasonable shout if you’re determined to townside early. Politician just exists in a niche wherein others might be more hesitant to trust you than normal, hence why it’s an Outsider.
If I join, then there won’t be any Outsiders unless Baron is in play. But if I join, then Baron + 1 other Minion could be in play.

If Baron is in play, then me joining wouldn’t change a single thing to the 9-player setup other than adding one additional Minion.
