Killing the Vig on N2 is also fine for wolves. That puts the number of players to even, they need to sleep at MyLo. Town doesn’t get an extra execution
Failing to kill the Vig by N2 is when town gets an extra kill. They basically stole one of Mafia’s kills, and transformed it into a town-lead kill
there was a turbo game where I made it to f4 as a vigilante, it really depends upon when mafia kills the vigilante as if you kill it early on it can be very helpful for mafia, while if you leave it to f4 well
So to summarize, the only differences (in my analysis) compared to 9v2 mountainous is that in Vig 10er mafia gets punished if they kill the Vig later than N2 and also a random town player will become an IC that they can’t execute
even if they kill it early on it’s functionally the same number of MLs as 9v2 mountainous (which i’d argue is sliiightly townsided)
but yes if the vig lives to f4 it’s kinda broken. though it’s probably on wolves at that point
the only problem is if the vig makes a bad shot lol

Vig kills happen with no posts. And town benefits and wolves are hurt from day talk. So there is an argument to be made when comparing that Mafia benefits from the game progressing faster, less talking
And there is a slight benefit of deep wolves having the excuse to not be NKed, justified by the wolves having to PR hunt (unlike in mountainous)
Jail dying N1 over me probably hurts me a lot if this was mountainous, but I had a good excuse here
This is probably bigger than slight. I said slight because in this game it was slight but in theory if the Vig is killed on N2, that’s a lot of the game progressed, with deep townread wolves having every excuse to be alive
The wolves killing the Vig on exactly N2 is probably the best for them (with variance; depending on the Vig’s shot). But assuming the Vig would shoot consensus, and would use it as a second execution - this seems the best, to me
