I take firm stances in these posts.
Yes, I donât project it with confidence and shut down the idea of being wrong in the same post. Yes, I admit I can see it alternate ways.
You canât argue, though, that I donât take firm stances. I made explicitly sure to take firm stances.
This is also false.
I did not hedge on Frostwolf. I consistently called Frostwolf wolfy. Not once did I say that I found Frostwolf towny, as far as I recall. In fact, Frostwolf is probably one of the only slots I was consistent on the entire game.
What did happen was that I backed off of pushing Frostwolf because players who knew him better - at least 3 of them, I think - told me he was town.
What was I supposed to do?
I donât know him. I donât know his meta. I donât know this site meta.
then how could you speak to leafiaâs meta?
hm
i donât want to read this in bad faith but why explicitly sure to take firm stances
Because Leafiaâs meta was discussed and I was told what it was.
Because this is something Iâve been suspected for before.
Itâs also something Leafia said near the start of the game.
okay hm
Anyway, what is the point of this post? Youâre shading me with false information but even if that wasnât the case and it was true, thereâs no correlation between how I treated those two slots and how they flipped. I hedged in different manners, they died with different results, and neither of them died in a way I had a strong hand in.
Take Gummy for example.
My longest post in this entire game (probably) is gushing about how I thought a string of two posts was very townie, but now Iâm pushing her.
Itâs more likely then that Iâm like this as my personality rather than how I treat villagers.
Not to mention, most of the game is villagers anyway.
mfw
how is this related to what youâve been saying
like idk what youâre responding to with this
True. Frost not having threadpull makes it less appealing to you if you were a wolf. I still think youâd take the kill though because Frost was the only slot suspecting you that I recall.
Iâm demonstrating that if youâre looking for consistency in the traditional manner, you wonât find it in me.
i would argue it would make me less likely to take the kill
Or in other words, I âhedgeâ inherently.
idk about you but im not killing someone who finds me sus when theyâre the only ones doing so
thatâs a death sentence in most cases
Youâre misrepresenting my post.
I didnât say Frost was wolfy for being different.
I said Frost was wolfy because Frost wasnât being loud about it. If you read my posts, this is very clear:
If I were a villager thinking town is off track, and voting vanity in this thread state, I would be concerned.
That concern would lead me to be louder, at the very least.
I donât see that coming from him.
okay actually what the fuck is that post
like thatâs such a nothing post to have killed someone over
Thatâs⌠very common.
Players are killed for their reads all the time. Itâs mafiaâs greatest tool to control the discussion and thread state. They can silence whoever they want in an all vanilla setup.
Why wouldnât they kill someone who is pushing them? Why wouldnât they kill someone who is correct and likely to push them later (as indicated by calling someone suspicious)?
Why wouldnât they kill someone who is pushing them? Why wouldnât they kill someone who is correct and likely to push them later (as indicated by calling someone suspicious)?
girl if youâre v you are so tunneled itâs not even funny anymore
like hmm yes the evil mafia members are holding like fucking Mafiongress and are like âhey this guy had a 4-word sr on one of us, we should kill himâ because that totally makes sense
I wish I could quote millions of examples of this exact thing happening.
