Even before then, too, as I believe I made remarks about this in the past.

Anyway…

I’m not sure what to think about this pushback.

Obviously some was to be expected, so I was being naive to be caught off-guard.

It feels unfair to vocalize this, but there is a part of me saying that Soweli is going under the radar once this really caught heat. I do acknowledge the real possibility and probability that she was just… not online. However, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t considering it.

It’s also strange that often players are suggesting Soweli (Gummy and Daeron were conflicted earlier as well) and yet none of us are even on that train. This has happened many times before when that PoE slot ended up being a wolf.

Perhaps that’s simply coincidence, but it feels like it matters. It feels like that’s how a wolf slips under the radar and just survives even longer.

Additionally, I don’t think I’ll ever come around to Soweli being a villager unless a major flip proves something wrong, so I don’t know why I’m leaving that alone anyway. It’d clearly help everyone else as well, considering Soweli was a wagon before.

I did a brief check of Frostwolf’s posts, and yes, he did vote Pandora. I don’t think it was near EoD, so that point personally holds less water than the Gummy post, but I do think that it’s probably important to consider because I could also see Pandora, if she’s a wolf, making that kill.

I don’t think she is one. I don’t have any reason for saying that at the moment - it’s purely because I know I held that position in the past.

like my clarification was just

i read ice cream maf 1 and thought leafia sounded exactly the same → thought leafia was wolf
and then leafia showed up and defended herself/made a super towny post and i thought leafia was likely town after that

the reason i was reading leafia as mafia was bc of meta but then she actually defended herself so i disregarded the meta and thought about if her post was likely ocming from a wolf

and my answer was no. i was still not completely sure (which is why you’ll see in my poe she’s there with like 1000 question marks) but i did think she was town

Anyway, I might build a case on Soweli later. If I feel up to it. I tend to promise grand things sometimes and not deliver.

I still do dislike how the end of the first day played out and think there was wolf-motivated movements.

Villages rarely implode like this, in my experience. It’s happened, but it’s rare.

It’s bizarre.

More in depth, it’s strange in that townies wouldn’t normally think of who they’ve interacted with and who they’ve been being townread by and who they’re paired with.

I think that in of itself is why it looks wolfy initially.

I believe though, if I were to stick with the Pandora V narrative, that wolves wouldn’t show this awareness and would instead choose to remain silent, and there’s a bit of a solving mindset on zone there to notice and defend the calling out.

If Pandora calls Zone towny for that - which I’m not sure if happened - then I would feel even more comfortable with my explanation.
