well my reasoning was like “if we can sleep and end up with the same number of mislynches maybe that would be good” but we can not end up with the same number of mislynches so we should kill

i think my stance is that chomps is fine but also if wolf will become more readable if we hang the other wolf first which. not always great for some teams. His reads are fine but also not impressive in any manner, he has a slight degree of intiative he likely doesn’t need as wolf here; and the vote on leafia is pretty good (unless paired with Daeron).

I think I might come across that way because I type formally. I’ve heard that before and it’s a little tinfoil hat theory of my own, similar to the one I posted earlier where I’d be easier understood if I didn’t type this way.

I do want to say GtH I think pandora’s been not great; a good degree of complaining about thread and then votes me-> childe without explanation for either (besides asknig childe to give reads which. does not make the childe vote better since that’s the typical explanation anyone gives to vote childe.)

I also still don’t think the content she was trying to generate with the Daeron vote was that good? which when that’s a substantiative part of her posting is kind of important.

i think you’re trasnferring types of statements that don’t transfer over to mafia into mafia.

Wolfy players are going to post things that seem towny and townreading them for those things is generally fair, particularly when there is no necessary fact that makes one viewpoint that emphasizes certain posts more valid than another; so if I were to revise that post I would probably say “fair, I think Leafia’s other posts have not been great and she has been aligning more with my perception of her wolf meta” and then gummy says “idk it weighs out differently”

I see. I think you’re saying you meant fair as in you could see Gummy’s perspective, rather than fair as calling the reasoning as fair then?

I’m pretty sure I have explained at least in part at some point (& also this didn’t read as a good faith quesiton tbhtbh but my bad on that one)

… ok I have actually said all of this verbatim but it mostly stemmed from

1. I was thinking that Daeron might be town
   1.5 A wagon that’s not me or Daeron would need a significant number of posts
2. Daeron said that if I was town, he would direct suspicion towards Leafia.
3. I already had shaky thoughts on Leafia
4. Zone also had Leafia as a person who could be mafia

so it was really the moment that I asked zone that I was first considering the possibility, I’m pretty sure I found his reasoning compelling enough to vote there

I can try and predict your next post’s argument, that being that I"m focusing more on what is a possible hang than whether leafia was a wolf, and again I would point to me not having a strong townread on Leafia; I’ve also been fooled by thinking that Leafia had good posts (can’t recall if specifically mindmelds) so gummy’s reasoning had less effect on me, but I don’t view this as good reasoning to disagree with gummy, particularly since I don’t think posts that each of us mindmeld with are going to be the same (and gummy had already stated they think anything was in Leafia’s wolfrange so this wouldn’t have really been a big discovery especially when I wasn’t quite certain on it)

I acknowledge this. I don’t want to attack it since I believe it will just lead us in circles, but know that I have read this and I do think it’s not something that changes my mind. Again, perhaps just because I’m fairly stubborn. I would have liked to see quotes of some kind from Leafia explaining where you see her wolf meta pop through or what made your thoughts on her turn shaky.

Are there anything happening right now? I kinda subconsciously ignore wallposts if they don’t mention my name, so while I acknowledge the existence of you discussing about something with soweli, I don’t exactly read the details.

The gamestate is stagnant, and I’m sure Mafia are happy about it, but like: It’s not as if this community will move until it’s too late anyway.

Chomps and gummy convinced me that my reason to scumread them are… not good enough, to say the least, so I think that Today should end with either Neon or pandora. I already did my job of voting Neon, so now it’s just back to the game of “wait until it is EOD, AKA when people actually play this game”.

Aye. Plus, even if I don’t fall asleep from reading the wall of texts, then my conclusion would probably be summarized with “this is formal language and all, but I am not getting any reads out of these” and “yadda yadda yadda maybe the true read was the difference in playstyles all along”.

(I skimmed bits and bops. I found nothing of particular interest. Considering neither of you are gunning at each other’s necks, and nobody is crying and/or shouting, it’s probably not very important.)

0. yes this is seperate from wolfreading me, even describing my play as bad, Daeron’s post saying I"m town for being so out of touch with the wolves’ night kill philosophy/etc. doesn’t get to me.
1. this was, for the most part not a recurrent phenomenon and limited to this one post, by describing my (hypothetical to you real to me) thought process as not possibly being genuine you are discrediting all effort I put into the game as either alignment.
2. I was already on edge after another similar thing this game (you can figure it out if you want it’s not hard).
