i do want to point out that jaiden called me lock town before dying
that doesn’t mean anything on its own i would almost certainly kill her as a wolf here
but i do think her read had good reasoning
if it’s apennine ishmael yesterday’s eod is something like this
the wolves get worried about either: someone calling DADV and moving off childe, carbonated reevaluating after being left alive, or jaiden/pandora finding me town
given that it’s obvious me/apennine are never w/w, apennine going over there is a loss for wolves, so they intend to distance by making ishmael the one at risk instead
apennine starts pushing ishmael with the thought that i’ll obviously move there in what looks like a bus given that i had to be prompted to vote someone i was repping as a wolfread
i don’t think she expects both pandora and carbonated to move there which throws things off but it still leaves a win path by killing jaiden->pandora/childe and relying on the carbonated pocket
do i believe all this? eh

It wasn’t relevant at the time when I had to actually make a choice. I expected Jaiden to swap if she was around, since the wagon on myself was no longer viable. I expected Misty to swap if she’s town. Pandora and carbonated I could imagine going either way.
So my expectation was that the wagons (childe and ishmael) would be roughly tied and me and carbonated and pandora would be deciding between the two. Carbonated and pandora then made the choice quickly and voted Ishmael, while I was still waiting to see what Misty would do, so at that point it didn’t matter anymore since Ishmael was pretty locked in as the execution.
I could have swapped my vote immediately, yes, and I think if I had been caring about how I looked then I would have! But functionally it did not matter at all as far as whether Ishmael died or not. All it does is look good.
Calling for the wagon swap, on the other hand, is the opposite. It was the catalyst for Ishmael dying, but doesn’t actually go on record as doing so. This is the opposite of what I’d want to be doing as mafia.
I’m curious why you think this
I think it’s correct strategically for mafia in the position of Ishmael/childe to try to kill each other as hard as possible.

if its childe ishy the correct strategical play would be to push you over and then let carbo vote me for the crime of being wrong in mafia
so i guess i’d rephrase that to “i don’t think i’m less likely than anyone else to kill her”

Tbh i still think apennine town. the pinging to vote yesterday was good and even if she didn’t swap like. I don’t think it would have changed anything cuz she was the one who advocated for the Ishmael vote (and if it was a bus it’d prolly be a pretty stupid one at that—why fling Ishmael overboard for that?). And I still think Mistyx was a good vote–the “whatever” message still strikes a hmmm chord with me

also i take back what i said in the beginning of the day about childe mafia, although I don’t want to throw childe out of consideration. although my view on childe has improved quite a bit with the vote.
tldr, FMPOV: I’m pro-Mistyx vote. If she’s not mafia well… um. I’m going to be really disappointed because Pandora just comes off as so towny to me I can’t even.

i think ive landed back on childe spewed town because i think like
the way ishmael pushed childe was indirect in a way that i dont think is really w/w generally
like if you look at her actual posts she said i was her top wolfread (did not explain why when prompted btw) and then pushed childe because “oh it’s a liability in F5”
which just seems like tmi that a childe execution would get the game to that stage
