If slanker rand wolf, then -by the logic of inability to get any reads out of them and not feeling good to execute them- they will always survive until LYLO. They won’t be killed because they are deadweight, and by LYLO people are incentivized to put their trust in “praying that =rand means they are Town” and “if they are Mafia, then there’s nothing we could do about it”.
That’s just stupid. That just means that the optimal Mafia play is to do the bare minimum and slank afterwards. It’s balderdash.
It isn’t. I am not giving myself protection for wishing to root out deadweights. If people have better suspects, then I won’t stop them from recreating The Cheesening. But I will continue to strive towards a game where everyone actually contributes enough for at least one other person to be able to read them.
