I like the way Bystander read and changed their opinion on the game, don’t remember how they play as wolf though but it strikes me as town.

first of all that wasn’t that serious of a suggestion as much as just not having any idea given the threadstate & expressing that in a some way. (Nyaa i also think being a lowposter is not a serious hinderance)

I feel like this particular readlist pinged me in a way previous ones didn’t i’ll try & look into this (I don’t think anything will come from it)
I think wazza’s been pretty towny all things considered, i’d expect w!wazza try to make reads & that’s on top of their tone being good (relatively, myspecific memory of meta’s shaky but my impression is wazza’s one of those players who’s more agenda’d as wolf)

… as much as I’ve seen how the alternative can lead to bad situations, I don’t really like this choice given the threadstate, part of my main goal in making the posts that I have is to get engagement, and so saying “wow you’re trying to get engagement” and then backing off when I say “yea i sure am” without actually providing that engagement feels wolfy. (Not necessarily through further pushing me though that would’ve been an option too)

i am aware. it’s something about the specific composite structure that reads to me as off & i meant to go and figure out why that was.

ok that’s not entirely true it’s also the particular stagnation of the reads, like in context there’s no better alternative since the thread itself hasn’t progressed that much but (off the top of my head i didn’t verify) these are all still pretty minor reads (& I’m more alarmed at this because i’m a very “ah you shouldn’t townread compotent wolves early on for little reason because then it’ll be harder to break out of that read (regardless of their alignment tbh” type of person)
or more pithily it’s also that the context of the reads has changed.

don’t really have a strict order just put in like SBPC and that’s good enough* (besides Jaiden who I am regrettably giving a d1 pass despite having done ~nothing readable)

let’s get some things out of the way first: I don’t particularly find doing things so that your wolfrange is kept intact to be particularly good both in terms of the single game context but also the larger game context, town is often very fickle & furthermore not eager to jump on sheer polarization most of the time, or at least there’s a bell curve to it. I’m at least formally willing to chalk this up to a personal difference but i can’t honestly say it hasn’t affected my read on zone.
I also don’t like zone wolfreading tutuu’s response when it’s objectively NAI but I do acknowledge that it’s getting something done. However.
This establishes a trend of zone doomering about the game without really doing too much to aid things
zone forgets who the consuls are
and then sets outs to PL people if they are inactive & to follow the consul leaders who are Jaiden (who could’ve been predicted to be not doing much for the whole day) and Leafia(would do more)
I don’t particularly like this framing either because yes part of the idea of the consuls is (maybe?) to bring more atttention to their ideas & sheeping does that but there’s no option for zone to have his own actual idea in the first section (he later clariifies it as null but especially in the context of kyubey jokingly treating the word of the consuls as law (in the post he’s replying to) it doesn’t sit well with me)
part of this is just that there haven’t been that many posts that were readable especially at the time zone was posting
I am restraining my urge to go after pressure votes for being ineffective and wolfy but also I think keeping tutuu alive for being talkative of all things is odd when he has barely been readable at all (it’s also extremely pessimistic about future prospects of posting for little reason)
I mean first of all the first part vibes weird to me in a number of ways, it doesn’t really do anything besides show that an arbitrary superficial reason can be constructed to vote anybody but that was not really the point i was making.
but then also when compared to zone’s other posting it’s really odd that he holds that more ought to be done but doesn’t do more himself.
