Is it not “normal” for town to insist they are town? The frequency is a tad bit higher compared to others that I have seen in this game, but Frog’s was not excessive enough to make me think he is a desperate wolf.

Giving explanations for each reads may be a tough task to some, but surely everyone is capable of making a reads list? Worst comes to worst (if one’s entire argument is solely gut feeling), just make a GTH reads list.
I genuinely think it’s not impossible for the mafia team to be Hippo and Frost lol

No it’s not normal for villagers to do so when they’re not under any pressure right at the beginning of the game. It feels performative. Villagers should show that they’re town, not tell.
Giving a readslist is easy. Having one with explainations is a bit tougher.

While I agree that “show, don’t tell” is a good advice, realistically it is not unfeasible that there exists at least one Town where their show is telling.
I do agree that Frog’s opening was an odd behavior, but -as is with any humans- oddity (AKA “uniqueness”) does not indicate alignment. At least, not to me.
In conclusion, I disagree with your read on Frog, as I myself find him to remain at null. At least, when it comes to his opening.
Frog’s inquisitive behavior that followed could either be interpreted as optimistic as [wishing to be up to date with the thread without having to spend an ungodly amount on analyzing any and all details on every single posts] or as pessimistic as [throwing performative questions without doing much with the answers].
For the time being, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and give him a townlean.
Then– Hang on, why am I about to ask you to make a GTH reads list?

Not sure why Frog asked for an entire reads list when -from what I understand- he wanted details on why you scumread him –but oh well. It doesn’t seem that you are able to give an answer beyond “gut feeling”, which… is valid. It is not a strong argument, but it is a valid argument to me.
