The beatings will continue until townplay improves: Part 4 - The Crestening (Mafia Win!)

  1. I don’t think the distinctino between action/behavior as I’m understanding it is all that… correct? I think there’s a lot that makes somebody towny/wolfy that goes outside of the strict quantities of reads/votes
  2. in particular I don’t find voting a globally townread and especially scumreading without voting to be wolftells? The former can be justified situationally, and the second one just doesn’t strike me as wolfy at all which further makes teh whole framework iffy
  3. I don’t think voting somebody who speaks a lot is likely to produce value in itself; at best if i were to read into it wolves tend to be more scared of drawing attention to themselves like this but i’m not confident in that (& it generally seems to fall into a pressure vote which means basically nothing to me. tutuu will come in and post regardless of your vote)

I value actions (i.e., voting) more than words. It appears that we disagree on that aspect. I understand that people can be frivolous about their voting, but that does not change my set values. I know it is not black and white, but I will treat it as such to make the game easier for myself. I would rather not navigate through the gray sea of various interpretations if I can avoid it.

I don’t know if my past selves have ever learned to see beyond the box that I put myself into right now, but if he had, then I have forgotten about it.

Voting a globally townread player… I tend to not like them. This may sound wolfy, but I tend to follow the masses’ thoughts if there is only one of them. Whether the vote was correct or not… I suppose that is NAI, but I still dislike the idea of diverging from the norm. (Today, I learned more about myself.)

Naked votes are ugly, period. I dislike them heavily and I am willing to join any wagons on those who make them. (And if this bites me in the future… Well, that’s my future self’s problem.)

I did not vote tutuu as a pressure, but as means to create conflict. Because there is nothing more sensational than conflicts to stave off my boredom. (I am reminded of the quote: “Apathy is a tragedy and boredom is a crime.” Yeah… that seems fitting for this context.)

. . .
One might say conflict is bad, but perhaps I am using the wrong term in that case. I need… a spark. An ignition. Something that is not nothing. If such thing is called conflict, then I’m more than happy to start one.
